 + -1 moreGary and his partner took on a special project for me. A wooden rocking horse with a broken leg. It was an ugly break and I thought I would never find anyone to fix it. The fix was not just done, it was done to perfection. You would need a microscope to see that it was ever broken. This took some artistry with the paint job too. I highly recommend them.

 + 3 moreThe Marin & Calloway crew was punctual and professional; always arriving when they said. They worked well as a team. As with any project there are unexpected decisions to be made and they explained the issue and consulted with me before making those decisions. They quoted it would take 5-6 days to complete and they finished in six days as promised. We did find where they caught a recessed lighting wire between the drywall and a ceiling joist but they promptly returned to free the wire and repair the drywall ceiling where they had to make the repair. We will hire Martin & Calloway again and will highly recommend them to anyone in need of a general contractor.
Description of Work: Martin & Calloway replaced all of the drywall in our kitchen, removed drywall and installed french doors from dining room to three season room and installed new cabinets and crown molding.

Description of Work: Installed Anderson storm door, created "door" with latch to seal a large hole left by a former contractor who made the hole in our linen closet to access plumbing. Gary also kindly looked at our wooden gate which had fallen out of alignment through settling over time. Since he did 2 jobs at our house, he figured out a way to fix our gate, ingeniously solving a problem at no charge for his time or effort. He was very professional. The access panel he created at the back of our linen closet included insulation to help prevent thermal transfer and lower our air-conditioning cost. Calloway is first-rate: they provide a detailed estimate up front and commit to their time line. They are also friendly and easy to deal with. I would gladly hire them again

 + -1 moreThings went extremely well. Crew showed up on a timely basis and was very efficient. Utilized floor coverings to catch debris and removed debris. Areas were cleaned up after job completion. Would and am considering using for other projects. Selected this contractor based on the reference of 2 neighbors who have also used this contractor. Professional, and do excellent quality work.
Description of Work: Installed attic ladder--cutting and framing to accept attic staircase. Trimed new opening. Installed and replaced 3 existing gable vents without disrupting existing siding and re sealed interior of attic. Cleaned siding in area of chimmey. Used 40 foot ladder to inspect chimmey and caulk from top of chimmey to the bottom of chimmey.
