The father is no longer the head of the business, so I would try them, I don't know that I would use them. It took them probably a couple of months to finish the work. This was major work. They were taking out an outside bearing wall to add this sun room to the back of the kitchen. So it wasn't an easy job, it was pretty hard. What keeps me going back is that he has a good reputation in the Wilmington area.

At the time we got them, the father was the head of the business. He retired, so his son runs the business now and I have no idea how he does things. I might try them in the future after I see reviews and compare prices.

Work is top notch. You can trust these professionals to have the skills and the know how to do the job right so it will look good and last for years to come. They have integrity as well as good taste, which is important for help to make those interior decorating choices!  The individuals and subcontractors on their payroll are skilled and trustworthy. You can have them in your home when you are not there without reservation. Father and son own and work this business together with their core group of trusted craftsmen. They make  a great team.

After interviewing many contractors about code compliance issue, I chose Steve. I haven't regretted the decision. He was knowlegeable about county codes and worked well with inspectors. He checked in everyday to keep me informed and answered any questions I had. The project ran over by several weeks because of weather delays and inspector schedules. During that time I had him renovate a master shower. His crew did a very professional job. Steve took my wife and I to a tile store on a Sunday to help us make tile selections. We would have been overwhelmed without him. I would Highly Recommend him and his crew, to anyone. There was one negative- his drywall sub contractors were sloppy, came late ,left early and left spackle and sanding dust everywhere. Steve had his crew clean up, Thankfully. We couldn't get paint to cover on the ceilings. Thinking it was the paint, we had Valpar send a Rep to our house to evaluate. 5 costs of a high hiding high end paint didn't help. It was decided that the poor sanding of the drywall was causing shadows. It wasn't the paint. I would never recommend the drywallers. Steve was apologetic and made cost adjustments. Other then that we would give Steve and his team an A. I would definitely use him again-minus drywaller.

All went very well.  I am completely satisfied with the results.  The best use of space was definitely achieved.  Not only is my area now functional, it is completely lovely.  It was pleasant having all of the Lodeski staff in my house, and I trust them completely.  No attention to detail was spared.  Their combined talents produced an incredible result; more than I could have hoped for.  The price was extremely fair.
Phone calls after the project completion were returned promptly. A totally professional team.  My highest recommendation.  I had used them almost 30 years previously when I first moved into my house.  The single car garage was converted into a family room.  I am still pleased with that project today.

Great job from beginning to end. Work was meticulously completed. House looks new! Neighbors commented on workers professionalism and politeness.

Steve and his team (Danny, Stewart, Jimmy) did an exceptional job on our home and we could not be happier.  The bathroom is beautiful with new marble, frameless glass, new vanity.  We live in an older home and Steve helped us to identify some ways that we could maximize the space in our bathroom by moving the toilet to a new location and installing a pocket door.  
All the work that was completed looks amazing.  The team is very talented with a lot of years of experience and knowledge.  This was a big job and I was really impressed with the ability for it to run as smoothly as it did, remain on schedule and on budget.  The team was always on time, dependable and stood behind their work to the fullest extent.  Steve will ensure that the homeowners are 100% happy and this really meant a lot to us.  We could not ask for more and will without a doubt use Lodeski for future home improvement projects.  He has already done projects for my parents and sister and everyone has been extremely happy.
In terms of the price, they are not the cheapest - however, when doing work in your home, it is an investment and you do not want the cheapest bid as you will ultimately get what you paid for.  That being said, the quote was extremely competitive and I found reasonable, especially given the amount of time and work performed.
As I said the team is really great and has a tremendous amount of skill in home improvement and knowledgable about all aspects of the job.  This is NOT a general contractor who is essentially going to come in and give a bid and then outsource all aspects of the job to another company and essentially only perform a project management function.  Steve and the team are great and appreciate all of their help to make our home beautiful.

We were very happy with the work Lodeski Home Improvements did for us.  Steve Lodeski provided a high level of communication regarding the progress of the work.  They completed the job in a timely manner and went above and beyond expectations on the finish work, providing creative solutions when needed.  There was close attention to detail and they professionally managed portions of the job that were  subcontracted out.  They worked with us as we made scope changes during the project.  I highly recommend this father and son team.

He did a good job. He was excellent. He was on top of it and he got the job done on time. The prices were reasonable. It wasn’t the lowest but it was definitely a reasonable price at the time. We have gotten some reviews from other people that have used him and we decided to go with somebody that we can get a recommendation on and we were very pleased. I have seen low bids and the job turned out to be the value exactly what you pay for. He gave a very good value for what we have purchased. We had a whole new edition put on to the house and it was done well. He was into the quality of the job and the price was definitely worth it. His responsiveness is really good. We had a couple of things that I wasn’t happy with and he came immediately and took care of them. I’ve other people that I had to really call back again and again but he came through and if we weren’t satisfied, he wasn’t satisfied. He did it when he said he was going to do it.

Rick's crew started when promised and stayed on the job until finished. Workers were competent, friendly, trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. The bathrooms renovation project is just one of several remodeling projects we have had Rick Lodeski General Contractor handle for our home. We would use them again without hesitation. They do quality work at a good, competitive price and we regularly recommend them to others.
