I would definitely recommend Hitchens Painting. They repaired an area of drywall, that had water damage for recent storms and painted a room. They were always on time and communicated well. Loved the added fragrance they added to the paint to eliminate the paint fumes too.

Outstanding work from a seasoned professional team. They prepped and painted the exterior trim and patched some foundation blocks for our N Wilmington home. Reggie and his team were prompt, thorough, professional, and easy to work with. He always communicated in a timely and clear manner. At the end of each workday they cleaned up leaving everything spotless. Despite using only top quality products they were very fairly priced. I highly recommend Hitchens Painting. Exceptional work done timely at a fair price. They are polite, professional, responsible, and reliable. Reggie responds to calls and texts within a few minutes. He and his crew sanded, primed, painted the entire interior of a 3-story whole house remodel. They fixed sloppy work that the wallboard crew had done, and carefully prepped the walls and ceilings before final paint on all 3 floors. They sanded, patched, filled, primed, re-sanded and did what it took to restore 100 year old trim molding and baseboards to near new appearance. They also painted all of the existing natural wood window sashes white and the work was meticulous. Reggie and his team were not done until we were 100% satisfied. Iâ m an extreme perfectionist and needless to say hard to please, but the result was better than I could have hoped for. A pleasant surprise to find a great contractor like this. We will use Hitchens Painting for all of our future painting needs.

We are so happy with Hitchens Painting. Reggie and his team did a phenomenal job of painting our home. We purchased our home, which needed a complete paint job. Reggie and his team are very professional.  They show up early and accomplish the timeline quoted. They brought our 40-year-old home into the 21st century with just paint! Our old build in wall unit looks fabulous after Reggie and his team painted it. They turned it into a wonderful focal point. It's now very chic and new,  Awesome! Their talent blending colors with seamless lines is so perfect!  They did a wonderfully complete job, painting closets inside and out as well as the trim work and doors, just beautiful. The fireplace walls had large cracks on both sides. They repaired the cracks, stripping them completely down and rebuilding them. The wall looks completely new. We couldn't be at the house, so Reggie took pictures and sent them to us every step of the way. It was like we were there without having to be there.  A problem arose when they were painting the sky lights. He noticed two were leaking. He called us immediately, and they caulked them. Of course, they will need to be replaced, but they stopped the leak until we replace them in a few months. A service above and beyond,  who does that? Hitchens Painting! I can't say enough good things about Reggie and his entire team. I strongly recommend them and would hire them again! 

Reggie Hitchens Painting has done several jobs for my whole family, one of which is a construction contractor. He has just completed painting my whole downstairs including living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast and family rooms. Reggie has a real passion for paint. We hired Reggie (Hitchens Painting) and his crew several years ago. We got his name from our neighbor who was pleased with his work. He did our living room, dining room, entry and hallway, which turned out beautiful. So, of course we went with him again to do two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the kitchen; they look wonderful. One week later we asked him to do our stairway (walls and ceiling) and also our family room, hallway, and bathroom. Reggie has an excellent eye for color treatment, is an expert painter and he is also very personable. He and his crew always arrived when promised and they cleaned up when they finished the job. Reggie Hitchens was recommended to me through an apartment management company. He was extremely professional - meeting me at the exact time we agreed upon. He understood my needs, and even made some excellent color suggestions that I had not considered. This is not a cheap fly-by-night company. Reggie stands behind his work. He did some necessary drywall repairs, and I could not find the old holes afterwards! He was fast, but thorough. What was crucial to me is that I do not live in the same town as the condo being painted. Reggie's communication was great - he sent pictures of his progress. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Hitchens Painting by my contractor. Mr. Hitchens was professional and timely in his follow-up. He arrived up on time. More importantly, he is very knowledgeable. He knows his stuff! I had some issues in the room he was going to paint. Without knowing my previous issues he informed me of the preventive measures he would take to prevent my previous issues from reoccurring. We discussed colors and he provided his insight, but wasn't overbearing. I tend to stay in the blue family with certain colors, but wanted to try something new. Mr. Hitchens encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and I absolutely love the end result! I smile every time I walk into my freshly painted room. I am so pleased with his work that we went to other rooms to discuss future projects. You can see his genuine passion as he discusses creative approaches. I loved his work ethic and the fact that he cleaned the area when he finished, including things left behind by the contractor. I'm excited to work with him because he has gained my trust. I trust his opinion and know that I will be pleased with his work.

4 guys spent several hours painting shutters and door. Great job! Gonna use them again for woodwork in front of house. Not cheap but you get a quality job. Worth it to me.

I contacted Reggie when we purchased our new home. We wanted the entire interior of the house painted prior to moving in. Reggie was able to provide us with an estimate based on our measurements and pictures. He worked within our timelines and had the house ready for move in day. Reggie was very accommodating when we added extra painting of bookcase, shelving and kitchen island. Reggie is wonderful to work with. Awesome is the word to describe our experience with Hitchens Painting. We were under a lot of pressure to get our home on the market quickly and were told that it should be painted a neutral color. Reggie came out and told us exactly what he could do for us even suggesting the paint color since we all know that neutral describes hundreds of colors. He and his crew were very flexible.
