carpet cleaners
+ -1 moreSee above for the whole story. Be careful of the price he quotes! The rug was cleaned appropriately.
Description of Work: I dropped off an expensive oriental carpet to be cleaned on 5-17-2013. I was given an estimate of $225.00, but Harb, the owner, said it could be around $250-$275 depending on the dust in the carpet and if it had pet stains. I told him there would be no pet stains because we don't have a pet. He gave a completion date of six weeks. I called at six weeks and was told by Harb he needed more time. I finally picked up the cleaned carpet on 8-5-2013 and he handed me a bill for $407.00!!!! I asked how he could go from $225 estimate to $407 and he explained it had more dust then he thought and there were pet stains. I got upset and told Harb I had no pets and felt like he was trying to rip me off! After arguing for 3 minutes, Harb adjust the bill down to $317 and I just paid it and told him I would never be back!
