Don't expect tight quality control. Had them put in a patio and redo my back steps. Bruce, the owner, was responsive during the estimate phase (though his proposal was light on details) and provided a fair price. Andrew, his foreman was good to work with. BUT the work was just not up to par. When they pulled the forms off the stairs, a glaring depression formed in one step and there were noticeable chips along other edges. When I asked Andrew if they were done, he said yes. I pointed out the flaws and he admitted they didn't look great. The only fix was to patch it. So my brand new steps have mismatched patchwork. I can live with that, even if I was annoyed I had to point it out. But I also now have a patio with an overly aggressive pitch. To be clear, it's on a SLANT. My grill, table and chairs all sit at a significant angle. I get it, there's supposed to be a little grade to let water run off away from the foundation, but I should not be looking uphill when I stand at the front edge. They did this at the grade of a driveway, not a patio. We had this work done in March, out of season. When it warmed up a month or so later, we bought furniture and the incline became glaring. I reached out to Bruce to tell him about it and asked him to stop by. I never heard a word from him. The same guy that returned my calls in minutes during the estimate phase disappeared once the check was cashed.

Bruce was excellent to work with! He was very informative throughout the process. When things needed to be added to help get the job done right he explained in great detail the need and reason. I requested several changes throughout the project and Bruce was accepting of all the changes without push back. Overall quality was great. They removed two layers of old blacktop pavement. Widened and extended the driveway which included several tons of rock to level and slop the driveway to drains. We no longer have water pooling on the driveway and after a year there are no signs of cracking. Bruce provided a thorough and competitive quote. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
