Superb service and done in timely fashion.

I was quoted one price and continued to charge more with every cut. He said the 1st week the lawn was too long. The second cut he charged the same. When I questioned the price he said he thought he was charging a higher price. He was also supposed to trim the bushes and this was never done.

Very good interactions from bid to completion. The work was very professional and the result was outstanding. I did my research and DiSabatino (Esposito Masonry) clearly knew what they were doing. Their original price was one of the highest but I negotiated down to one that was competitive with the more competent bidders; I did get some lowball bids from competitors which were clearly not as skilled and knowledgeable as DiSabatino. The disruption was minimal and the work was done quickly. A couple of unforeseen issues were dealt with very well. We're getting a lot of compliments from neighbors. I couldn't be more pleased

We had been experiencing two problems related to basement drainage.

1. We had been experiencing water in our basement seeping in from under the block wall where it met the poured concrete floor of the basement and from a corner window that is below grade, but protected by a French drain window well.  I had previously installed a 4" PVC pipe to conduct the water from a downspout just outside the window and sloped it away from the corner by about 8 feet.  That worked for a while, but during very heavy downpours, I still had water seeping into the corner of the basement.

2. For several winters during hard freezes the discharge pipe from our basement sump pump would freeze up.  The pump would run continuously and, if I had not been paying attention, the basement would have flooded.  As a temporary solution, I dropped a secondary submersible pump into the sump and pumped the discharge to a basement sink using garden hose; not exactly proper, but you do what you have to.

Disabatino (Vinnie) visited, diagnosed both problems, performed the work listed and installing relief fittings and drain grates in the yard at the terminus of the drain lines.  The work was bid in a business like manner and was actually performed while the family was on vacation.  Upon our return, inspection showed a very neat and well finished job.  The areas where the lawn had been disturbed were well graded, dressed and seeded.

I waited until now to provide a review to see if the work had been effective in solving the wet basement and freezing sump pump drain problem.  Today was the end of a period of single degree weather plus snow, a quick warm-up followed by local downpours.  Even with the still frozen ground, melting snow and local flooding nearby, our basement remains dry and the sump pump has run without freeze up.  All-in-all a great job and a great result.

Initial contacts were OK but difficult to get time from the "designer".  The design was not to scale so we ended up doing measurements and creating our own plan.  That should have been the indication to me that detail was not the top priority of this "designer".

The work crew (2 guys) was good but I was told we would get to review where the plants would be placed for final movement.  This did not happen.  They did well given that the "designer" didn't provide enough detail to them. They did go above and beyond by putting rock in our window wells around the beds, which I greatly appreciated.

Overall, we are happy with the results.  It was a simple plan so hopefully not much to mess up.  

I would like to post another review next summer after the plants have time to grow, or not.  

We are happy we chose this provided (of the ones that actually responded to us).  However, if you ever work with them, be sure you have everything detailed so there are no questions when the work actually starts.

Everyone at DiSabatino's is fabulous! Our planner Savvas created a beautiful plan and helped us choose plantings and lighting options. He oversaw the installation and kept in touch with us to make sure we were happy with the job. The crew was very professional and took care with our existing plantings, transfers and use of heavy equipment necessary to bring in large trees and boulders. Great care and attention was given to all aspects especially the fire pit installation.
We love our new home and how beautiful it has become with their assistance. We highly recommend them!!

The initial visits were wonderful and professional - Marc explained what was good and bad in my trees and gave me an excellent education on the importance of regular maintenance. He came out for a second visit to give me an updated quote. However, the people who did the work were a little messy - the roofers left some dead branches on the roof which I now need to remove myself. Even so, I will be using them again in the future and will be more explicit about asking them to clean up after themselves.

They were the third landscaping company to come out and give us a price, and they were the only company that gave us lots of ideas that we had never considered. Our designer, Lance, was quite knowledgeable. He came up with lots of ideas that we had never considered, and we loved the ideas and signed the contract. The crew that came to perform the work was amazing. They could not have been more polite and they were extremely careful with the work that they did. I'm extremely picky and when I asked the crew to move the shrubs (that they had just planted) a couple of inches to the left, they told me it was their pleasure to do that for me and they just wanted me to be happy! I was, and was actually so happy with their customer service skills that I will continue to use DiSabatino again and again.

The patio is beautiful! Everyone from Chris who initially came out to discuss our plans, to the office staff, to the landscapers themselves were wonderful to work with. They created a great drawing of the proposed patio which was very helpful in visualizing what the work would eventually look like. They told us the work would take about two weeks to complete so it was a great surprise when they finished after only one week! Their price was slightly higher than some of the others we received but the quality of their work made it very worth it. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend.

Results are fantastic and they exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend DiSabatino Landscaping to anyone.

It went pretty well. We are overall pleased with the finished product. They were a little more expensive than some of the other estimates we got. The crew was very professional and very good at addressing the concerns we had about the design plans. The costs were originally pitched at $10,000 to $12,000. We originally had many tropical plant varieties originally in the design but changed to more local plants and were still surprised by the increase in price. Overall we were pleased with the workmanship and the finished product.

This was a major project, and we felt that they were the only company that we spoke to for quotes who had the equipment, expertise, and manpower to do the job properly. The house is on a steep slope that was impossible to mow.  Their landscape architect, Lance, developed a plan for terraces created by boulder walls and plantings.  Part of the project involved moving in large boulders to create these walls.  Entire project, including planting, was completed in just under 2 weeks.
We have received so many compliments on the finished project.  People have driven past the home and slowed down to take a look.  People have stopped and told us how beautiful it is!  It is quite stunning.
The project was a big ticket item, but we know from the positive response that it has added to the value of our home.  We would have no reservations in recommending DiSabatino.  We plan on using them for another project next year.

Re-graded my yard after a systematic analysis, which contradicted what I had heard from other contractors and an inspector. Suggested things I could do for free to improve drainage on my own during Storm Sandy, which really worked so i trusted his opinion. The work was done in excellent style and promptly. When some minor touchup was needed they came out and fixed it even without my asking, on a routine re-inspection. Outstanding experience, not so common with contractors.

They were on time. They did everything they said they would and cleaned up well. We had a little issue where they cut a cable line, but they did help us get it fixed. They responded immediately to help fix it.

It was great. All of the companies were pricey. They were very responsive.

They did a very good job. They are very customer focused. They came and asked for feedback. They showed up when they said they would. They forced us to give an estimate for them to do the work.

They are excellent.

The experience with them was excellent. They have an arborist on their team and he was very knowledgeable about the health of trees and he could guide us on which trees needed fertilization and which needed to come down. I remember their price to being a little more expensive than the others around.

We've been very pleased with their service. Everything has turned out excellently, and I would highly recommend them!

There was absolutely no over sight. We had 3 major projects done. We had 55 trees removed, full front landscaping done and edging of our driveway. It was about $45,000 worth of work and it was problem after problem after problem. They didn't have a project manager on site, the work crew was out here cutting trees down that weren't supposed to be cut down. The owner, Chris, is rude. We told them at one point we were on vacation and not to go to our property or we would have them arrested. It was just bad. They started in April and we finished working with them in July.

As of August 2013 the problem has never been resolved to our satisfaction. We retained an attorney in October of 2012. At which time we found that the DiSabatino Landscaping contracts are in violation of PA law. We filled to go to court to have the situation rectified. A Disabatino partner met with my husband and agreed that the job was not completed as it should have been. Despite agreeing to stop litigation and stop the matter, based on promises stated by Disabatino. 6 months later, no work has been started. As such, we have no choice but to pursue all legal options available.

I missed the first appointment and they were kind enough to send Jason out again. When he came out the second time he took the time to address all of my concerns and issues. He answered a lot of other questions about the tree's on my property and proved himself to be quite knowledgeable about all things tree's and plants. If it had not been for two other projects I have going right now I would have had him plant two new tree's in the front yard. The office staff was excellent. I was in contact with Kara and Tessa throughout the whole process which is a good thing since I tend to forget appointments. When the crew came out to remove the tree I was at work. My neighbor said they were very nice and respectable. She also indicated that they seemed to know what they were doing since they had the tree down in no time. Overall I had a very good experience and am looking forward to dealing with them again. If you have a landscaping project it's worth it to check their website as they do a lot more than cutting tree's down.

As expected, they were very prompt to get out to the house to look things over and quickly provided a landscape drawing (by email) to which minor changes were made at our request. They advised us they would contact us to schedule about two weeks out, which they did. Due to rain, they were running a bit behind but were quick to let us know about the delay, and did the work on the revised date as promised. The day after the work was done, we received a phone call asking if we were happy with the work. We had a couple of minor adjustments to be made, and they arrived on time to make the changes.
