Great job!  Patrick said the chimney didn't really need to be cleaned but I told him to go ahead with it anyway since he was already here.   He did the job quickly and left the area as clean as before he started.  He also swapped my cracked ash door with one he had on his truck for no additional charge.

Very professional.  The inspector came on time, did a thorough inspection of my chimney, showed us how to work it properly and recommended another vendor to look at the mortar.

The gentlemen that came to service our chimney was excellent.  We have a wood stove and he performed an inspection on it's condition and the condition of our chimney.
He also explained the ins and outs of our stove, which was already installed when we moved in 7 years ago and we had no information on.  He gave recommendations on the most efficient operations of it as well as suggested that we also burn coal instead of just wood for increased efficiency.  He really took the time to explain the how's and why's of each function of the stove, as well as how to get the best performance and life through care and maintenance.  He was not pushy or trying to sell me anything.  I got truly got the feeling that he was passing along information and was proud to do so.
He dd make a recommendation on improving our chimney set-up through the installation of a liner through the entire length of the chimney, but stressed that is was not mandatory or absolutely necessary.  The work would be more for improving performance and safety than because of necessity.
I asked him to write up a quote for me and we will discuss this work in the spring.
Excellent service, and knowledge.
The only detraction was that he was 1/2 hour late, but this is COMPLETELY understandable due to the bad weather we had on the morning of our appointment.  He did call to let us know as well.

It was great.  They came back multiple times to water test and to caulk and finally solved our problem.  Thanks Chim-guard!

He was on time. Told me what he was going to do. He also talked to me about my insert.

Appointment was for 8 - at 745 he called to let me know he'd be late due to weather, and he arrived at the new time specified.  He was able to do the sweep and clean, and since I couldn't remain on site, he called me to let me know how everything went and gave me a verbal report as well as leaving a written one.

They are very reliable, they show up when they say they are going to. This man is as honest as the day is long! He keeps a record on what services we have used, so that he recommends when we need service again, and lets us know when we DON’T need it! He even came up with a solution for stinkbug-proofing our house!
