We had a terrible experience with Reskovitz. They added sealant to our boiler in an attempt, unsuccessfully, to seal a crack in the boiler, which took them less than two hours to complete, including their “drive time.” I asked the service techs, when they arrived at our house, to provide us with the cost, and their response was that they have no idea, since they “do not handle billing.” The only cost, other than labor, was some sealant powder, so I expected a bill of around $200 max, but, instead, I received a bill in the mail for $450. For a bill that high, any company, be it HVAC, a car mechanic, whoever, should notify you of the high cost BEFORE they perform the service, which Reskovitz did NOT do. I complained to the owner, who did not apologize for their failure to state the bill estimate ahead of time, nor did he show any concern whatsoever for our feelings on the matter, and simply told us that “the bill is the bill.” Furthermore, as if that was not bad enough, within a couple of hours after they added the sealant to the boiler, it created a nauseating chemical smell that permeated through all of the radiators throughout the house, which was concerning to us, as to whether it may possibly be unhealthy. It was on a Friday evening, and we attempted to contact Reskovitz several times, including directly texting the owner, and we got absolutely no response from anyone for the entire weekend, so we had to endure that concerning chemical smell the entire weekend, not knowing if we should evacuate the house or not. When they finally responded on Monday morning, the owner flatly denied that the sealant had anything to do with the chemical smell, and, again, showed absolutely no concern for our feelings whatsoever regarding the fear and uncertainty that we felt entire weekend, having to live in those conditions with that harsh chemical smell. I tried, completely on my own, with absolutely no support or direction from Reskovitz, to drain the boiler and refill it myself, around 20 times, in order to flush out the smell. I am not an HVAC expert at all, but fortunately my idea seemed to work, with absolutely NO thanks to Reskovitz for providing any assistance to us, whatsoever. In short, Reskovitz is happy to charge the customer exorbitant prices, and WITHOUT informing the customer ahead of time, but they are completely unhappy to support the customer in any way, or to even have any empathy for the customer when the customer brings up legitimate concerns to them. Instead, they are short with the customer, rude to the customer and provide poor value for the money that they charge, with zero customer service.

They were prompt, they were very professional, and he's a nice guy. They were great.
