Project was completed to contract with a few exceptions, including not finishing base boards and trim.  The overall feeling that we had after this project was completed was that we didn't get a quality product and paid a substantial cost.  The first time my wife and I met with their designer Dan, he was quoted as saying this kitchen renovation should be in the ball park of 20k with granite countertops.  After meeting with him a few more times the number inflated to 40k.  Once we balked at the price, he said give him time to relook at the numbers and get back to us.  Price immaculately reduced to 30k with granite, but no flooring or demolition of old kitchen.  Due to our time constraints we decided to move forward with the project.  Once the contract was signed we had very little interaction with Dan again.  Only one time did he coordinate a time to meet with me to evaluate how the project was coming along.  Even better the 30k price that included granite didn't have any granite options.  Thank god the granite line item was removed and my wife and I used Troy Granite, who were wonderful.  The contractor definitely knew his stuff, but wasn't very punctual and on several occasions his helper didn't show up causing delays in the project; however, overall I thought he did a good job and helped us with the bathroom as well.  I would not suggest American Cabinetry LLC to anyone looking for a quality kitchen from a respected outfit. 

I was very displeased with the service that I received from American Cabinetry. They have a small store front which is mainly by appointment only, because they did not have someone there all the time. They put me in touch with a designer and there were several times when I was supposed to meet with him and he did not show up. When I got in contact with him he told me that he was busy with a whole bunch of other projects. Everything that he designed for me had to be redesigned by the gentleman in the store front. When he filled out the order I had to go back and make corrections to it, because it seemed that I knew the sizes of the cabinets better than he did. When they did the actual ordering they ordered the wrong cabinets. So they had to reorder the cabinets and the parts. Even with the reordered parts the drawers did not work. I packed all of my kitchen things up around Memorial Day and was not putting them away until about Thanksgiving. I just love the cabinets, but I was horrified by the people. I received terrible service from them.
