Joe provided a reasonable estimate to hang two closet doors. We agreed on the price and scheduled the work. Joe arrived promptly and did the work to my satisfaction. If I have more projects will certainly ask Joe to bid on the work.

"The customer canceled 2 times. had to more work in his place he would not clean the cat boxes and the smell was unbelievable than all of a sudden he wants me to stop what I am working on and do his job I work with people but he needed to work with me also. he didn't have the room ready to work in and cat boxes still in the room not cleaned not a working environment for anyone but still had to pay workers. this has happened twice."

The contractor has a casual and disinterested approach to your home and project. He assumes without relying on the home owner for information on your project. He does not respect your time and he takes offense when you instruct him. You must be with him to onset the work being done. He will tell you about license and years of experience. But, he is stubborn, uncooperative and distrustful of the home owner.

"We started by putting a faucet in his kitchen. Then he said we broke his garbage disposal, we got there he had not used it or his dishwasher in 10 years. He washes his dishes on one and puts them to drip dry on the side with the disposal it rusted shut, was nothing we did. I helped him I only charge him $150 and bought and installed new disposal. Two days later he calls and says you broke my dishwasher, remember he has not used it in 10 years or ran it. He wanted me to put one in for free. We did not touch any part of his dishwasher, the drain even went to the main drain. I like helping people, but that is too much."

I hired A&L to install a storm door. He picked up the door and stored it until I scheduled installation. He did a good job with the install. I would hire him again for other jobs.

Joseph did great work. He came and gave me an estimate and kept to the estimate. He went out of his ways to get the best supplies needed to get the job done. He was able to fix a variety of different things around my house. I would recommend this company to any of my friends.

A & L responded to my request for an estimate the same day. Was on time for the appointment and gave me an estimate at the end of the appointment. Job was completed on Sat and Sunday of Labor Day weekend.

Joe did excellent work installing a storm door (had to be custom made), installing a railing for a flight of stairs, installing light fixtures, and replacing old door knobs with new ones. The quality of the finished work exceeded my expectations and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend A&L Repairs and Contracting.

Joe contacted me and made his schedule to review project meet my needs. He came in with a very reasonable bid and discussed project giving me advice tow work with. He was able to schedule the project very quickly and finished in the time frame projected. He was thorough and cleaned up everything. I WILL be using him for more projects. So I hesitate to write such a good review because I am afraid he will be too busy for meee ! ð Thanks Joe !

I needed a soffit replaced and the first thing that happened when A &L came he would not do the work because he saw a squirrel. So, I had to call pest control with an added cost. They came out and tore down the soffit and nothing was in there except nests. The quote he gave me should have been reduced but was not for A and L did not have to pull down the soffit. Next thing I had to leave and I know it was a mistake paying him ahead of time, I should have known better. He left a mess of wood and soffit on the side of house. He did clean the nests and put it in my garbage can. He left a big dent on corner of soffit and an opening which I called him about. Said he would come out Monday morning and see it. I sent pics and he claimed he did not get them. Though it read delivered. He never came back to fix it nor did he call. I really think since he got paid he does not care. Not right, if he decides to come back to fix it I will change this star and edit review. Sad people take advantage of others!!!!
