Absolutely horrible... This faulty roof is causing water damage to the internals in my home, such as drywall and basement beams holding my house togther. the leak started in December of 20 and got fixed in January of 21. needless to say they never actually fixed it. This leak is now causing way more damage to my home and is going to cost me thousands of dollars to fix. G.Fedale is saying it's not their issue and not taking responsibility for the damage it has caused. All I can say is for the sake of your home and wallet don't ever invest in this company. G.Fedale's policy and warranty are such trash... Very disapointed overall, and now what would cost me 25k now cost 35k when they could have just done it right in the first place.

They're going to come back and do more work for me. Its a family business. They have long-time employees. Quality work and the value with their customers is probably their biggest asset.

Very professional company. Excellent quality workmanship. They are certified Hardie installers, which is why I called them in the first place. They were very thorough in their explanations of the process, the possible choices available to me (including the pros and cons) and very upfront about what I did and did not need. When it came time for the work to be done, they kept me informed at each step. I could not be present for much of the time when they were **** the work, so they sent me pictures throughout the day and called/texted when they had a question or wanted to bring something to my attention. They kept to the schedule they had outlined, although they gave me time in the middle of the project to select and order a new light I had forgotten to get. They also accommodated several new requests I had mid-project. It all went a lot more smoothly than I had expected — the whole project was really well managed. The workmanship was very high quality. The house looks brand new — it looks really terrific! I was very, very pleased with how it all turned out. Yes, I would hire them again!

The estimate went great, Jake (estimate contact) was very informative and thorough. Scheduling initially went well, however there were several hiccups in the "two day project". The first issue encountered after day 1 was the large amount of debris left in my back yard. It was noted on the contract that there is no backyard access and that all material was to be taken back over the roof to the front. My project manager Jesse was very quick to remedy this and was there that evening to clean up. I was then curious about the "smart vent" that was installed on the front and back of the roof and why it was located so high on both sides near the peak. I was contacted the next day and advised the smart vent was installed in the wrong place and that they would need to come back out and move it. The company did a good job moving the vents and replaced all of the wood that was cut out of the roof for the initial and wrong placement. The company then sent out two representatives to inspect the attic and the fix. The crew also forgot to install an additional vent, which was on the contract, but they were able to come back out to install that. Regarding the window capping and porch work, the company advised me that this would be a separate day with a different crew. Scheduling went well for this, but I received a call from my project manager advising me that the crew did not feel comfortable doing this portion of the job. My project manager got a different crew, which was able to successfully complete this portion, however they forgot to caulk some of the windows and were back out that night to finish. Currently I am waiting a final inspection of everything, as the company upgraded my warranty for all of the issues. I was very happy with Jesse (project manager), he was very professional and tried his best to make everything right.

We live in a historic home in Wilmington, built in 1886. The previous owners had done a ton of renovations to the home, but it didn't take long to realize none of those renovations had been done to code. We were forced to completely rebuild the back third of our house, and surprisingly we were able to do all the work from footers to deck construction with G. Fedale. To start, G. Fedale was one of only three companies that would even give us a quote on the work (we sought quotes from a dozen). While the initial estimates came in closer to $35,000, as walls were opened surprises were found and the final cost was closer to $42,000. We literally had this portion of our home rebuilt from the ground up. A crew started by digging out old concrete footers at the back of the house and removing steal support columns and replacing the 4x4 that had been supporting the back second and third story of our home with engineered beams. From there they worked on the second floor bedroom to rebuild walls and install beams in the ceiling while removing a large wooden deck from the third floor over the bedroom. They replaced the deck with a deck-like roofing material that is both easier to replace and easier to manage (and up to city code). They installed new siding on the back of the house and new gutter systems. Jeff Bartram, the lead carpenter for our job is amazing. Words cannot describe the work that Jeff did on our home. Time after time Jeff was faced with a head scratching obstacle or shoddy work left behind by the previous renovation crew or from decades previous additions to the house and found safer, stronger and ingenious ways to repair, replace or remove the outdated or unsafe structures he found with something better. He avoided five figures worth of overruns on the project by engineering a reframing of a wall that actually made the existing structure stronger than rebuilding altogether.

The two workers who came to my house were very friendly and professional. I explained to them that we have one problem spot in our gutter that backs up and they focused on that area. After finishing their work they actually brought down the bird's nest that had been causing our problem. I was even more impressed with their office staff. When I received my bill, it was higher than I expected because evidently I had been quoted the wrong price when I set up the job. I called the office to alert them to the mistake and Bridget had the invoice adjusted so that I paid only the the price I was quoted. And she did it without ever making me feel like she was doing me a favor! It was a level of service you don't see every day. I would definitely use them again.

The cost was broken down. The price was reasonable. It was quality workmanship. They were a pleasure to work for and they did a top-notch job. Any questions they answered, any problems you have they address them immediately. They’re just an overall good company. That was my first time using them.

Superbly! The initial survey of my roof was done by a professional who was a roofer, not a salesman. He explained what he saw and made recommendations, explained how the job would be done, the products to be used, clean up and permits.. Everyone I dealt with from G.Fedale was courteous and attentive to my questions and concerns.The quote was realistic and fair for the work to be done.Two layers of shingles and 10 sheets of bad decking were removed.Five man crew worked 12 hours to replace (36 squares of shingles) my roof in one day! Project manager was on site, communication before, during and after job was excellent.One man cleaned all day, putting material in on site dumpster.Tarps covered front and rear of home. Cleanliness was outstanding.Had new gutters installed by same company within a week of roof replacement. The G. Fedale experience was "outstanding" in all respects. I most strongly recommend this contractor for roof and gutter work. I will be using them in the future for siding replacement.

Excellent work. Very professional, Workers were excellent. Clean up was thorough and complete (house was cleaner after they left then when they arrived, in fact). Salesperson/team was a pleasure to work with (not a hard sell, fast talker type as some of the other roofing companies I considered were). Process was seamless. Very high quality. I also considered the solar shingle options (ultimately decided not to)...they are one of the few roofers that provide such services currently. Of course you may pay a little more for better quality, but overall very price competitive -- actually lowest bid relative to the other high quality roofers (and some lower quality roofers) which I contacted. Excellent / longer workmanship guarantee relative to other roofers. I had to delay the project as we were considering a remodel in lieu of roof replacement and they were very patient (and of course offered to return my deposit for the roof) while we made the determination on our house. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of roof replacement.

G Fedale General Contractors LLC was pretty good.  If I had other problems, I would use them again. In general, they were pretty good.

Great. Very pleasant, professional and responsive. There was some scheduling delay, so the company provided a generous discount. The work was done quickly and very well. I would highly recommend this company, and will use them in the future if I need work done.

I was pleased with the work, when it eventually got done. The problem is that they outsource a lot of their work so sometimes it's difficult to get the pieces to coordinate properly.

They were good.

Cleaned my gutters.  Said they weren't that bad.  Something had come loose and was blocking the flow of water, but he

did not have the proper tool to fix it. Hopefully next time, I'll remind them to bring whatever it was.  Would use again.

The staff was very good. They were very prompt and responsive.

It turned out fine. I can't say there's anything I loved about it. They were on time and did the job. I purchased more from them instead of just getting the cleaning that was part of the deal. I purchased gutter guards.

The work was completed very quickly and scheduling was easy.  He was very personable to work with.

The quality of the work was ok but ended up extremely expensive. They gave me the old bait and switch. Original bid was only $18,000 but everything became a up charge ! Some work was added on but I don't feel a got good value . Final job cost was over$28,000.
