In an attempt to make the home we purchased more to our style we purchased new lights and fans and some timers for lights. Being new to this area we asked our neighbor if they knew a good electrician to refer. Thankfully she did and gave us Conductive's number. The pendants I picked where not the easiest to hang and required more support and a trip to the hardware store for more parts...But the gentlemen were very detailed oriented and made sure they were hung perfectly. They installed a ceiling fan, a ceiling mount light and 4 timers. I will be phoning them to come back to install the others replacement lights when I purchase them. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!
Jeff was recommended by another electrician on Angie's list whom we had lined up for weeks and could not make it (snow/flu).
Jeff and his assistant visited our house to better understand the three jobs prior to doing the work. He was very professional and we received a quote which was high, however, we opted to have them do the job, recognizing the price was high. At the time of his estimate, I asked how long the work would take - half day? Response was several hours. Then once on site, Jeff realized he needed two small hooks which he left to get (and charged an extra $35 for something that cost <$8).
It turns out the men worked two hours each (total of four hours of workmanship) including Jeff's travel time to pick up the hooks. I got the impression the work would take much longer and hence, the high quote which we accepted. In retrospect, the cost was extremely high vs. other electrical work we had done last year (electrician is now retired).
Jeff's website says 'click here for coupons' and there are no coupons, however, he did give me $25 off for a net of $440.00 for 4 hours of workmanship which included minimal materials - wire and two hooks.
Jeff did respond timely and was very professional at a very high cost....if this is what you are interested in.
The cost of rewiring and fixing the two improperly installed ceiling fans seemed expensive, but not unreasonable at $250/per fan. They were both in our childrens' rooms so it was very important they were done right. He also brought some issues to light that we were not aware of that could have caused some serious issues in their rooms.
Overall, I would highly recommend Jeff and would absolutely use him again. Very professional, honest, and reliable.
Jeff's work is clean, professional, and he cleans up after his self. He had a helper with him who was also very cordial. He made sure his helper understood everything before he let him make a move. I can see Jeff is a stickler for details, which is exactly what you want.
My landscaper, Borsello, recommended Jeff last year to us and he helped us replace a bad electrical outlet near the in-ground pool.
I will absolutely use Conductive Electric again!
