I was enrolled in the Reiki Energy Healing Classes in which I learned Reiki Levels 1-3. For the 3rd level, my husband & I bartered half of the payment for a custom designed tattoo for the Reiki Teacher, Krissy Deskiewicz. At the end of the class I paid what I owed in full, & asked her if this account was settled and in full, Krissy replied, "yes." My husband is a professional artist and was giving Krissy a break on the price of the tattoo artwork. She had sat with him for a session on 2.5 hrs to achieve the correct design for her. In Late November 2009, she approached with a demand that I pay her in full immediately and that the tattoo wasn't part of the deal, and later claimed that it wasn't the design she wanted and changed her mind. When my husband threatened a lawsuit then she proceeded to slander us with our social contacts. This woman isn't a true Reiki Master according to other Reiki Masters I have spoken to, and to have an attitude like that goes against all the positive energies and creed that Reiki Masters live by. She cheated my husband out of what was his liveliehood and me out of the the teaching section of my Reiki class. I never received my final certification, and now I have to hire another Teacher to finish my class. In my own opinion, she is a charlatan and a cheat. Krissy makes false claims and doesn't follow through with contracts. I would never recommend that any person receive instructions from her. Find another more trusting Reiki Master.
