Robert came out after hours for his quote, which I felt he didn't need to do, and was above and beyond a normal contractor.  He was personable and gave us a realistic quote.  He arrived on time, and as agreed upon for the day of the service.  They each did their jobs, and did it well. They even took some of our yard debris and chipped it as well.  He did contract out to a sub contractor for the removal / grinding down of the stump (we were installing a pool in the same location), and some of the translation was missed, as the sub-contractor didn't know we were having a  pool installed and did not grind down the stump below grade.  We contacted Robert, and he personally came back and finished the work.  The pool went in and you would never know the tree was even there.
I would recommend 1st State Tree Service to anyone looking for dependable tree removal service.
