The two gentlemen were on time, professional and exceptional in their demeanor, work ethic, schedule adherence and also bent over backwards to explain things to me.  They also graciously demonstrated how the new shutters worked, described in detail the new features, described the maintenance needs, the warrantees and finished when they said they would.  They also cleaned up inside and outside.  I would highly recommend East Coast Shutters & Awnings to my Ocean City neighbors, colleagues and any other person or business in the area that has a need for their products and services.

The provider's sales rep gave us very detailed information about several products, including more expensive models (and less expensive ones) in their showroom. He explained details such as longevity, quality of motors and other installation hardware, as well as information about styles of awning materials. He also gave us a very accurate estimate of the cost of our installation, even before measuring.
He later visited our home to take specific measurements, and was exceptionally careful about alerting us to limitations of our installation location, including limited sizes which could be installed in our situation. He illustrated well the differences between different grades of product offered. He answered very specific and detailed questions about the warranty coverage on the Eclipse product, including specifically pointing to East Coast Shutters' written pledge to go beyond the limitations of the Eclipse manufacturer's warranty (dealing with geographic location within 1 mile of salt water). Again at this time, he did not attempt to steer us to purchase "more" than we needed or wanted in our situation. He promised installation within about 4 weeks.
Our order arrived for installation at least one week earlier than we expected, and it was installed very professionally by the provider's install team. I personally observed every step of the installation, and was impressed with the team's attention to detail. The electrical installation was performed exactly to our specifications, and exceptionally neatly. And the awning was placed exactly where we wanted it.
The install crew was extremely neat, and cleaned up thoroughly after the installation. Before leaving our home, the team answered several questions about operation, safety and maintenance, and demonstrated such details as battery changes in the remote operator and the wind sensor.
The price of our order was exactly as we expected - no surprises. It's too soon to evaluate the quality and longevity of the awning itself, of course, but initial impressions are very positive.
I would definitely recommend this provider to others, and would definitely return to them for future business, if any.

They took the time to not only walk me through it, but also called back to make sure it was okay. Then she said that if there's ever any problems to please cal theml. They were just so helpful and so nice and the service is just impeccable. I woul recommend them to anyone.

I called for an estimate and the salesman visited my home to provide the details and make the sale.
He explained the cost and took the measurements.  He even took a picture of my deck.
I made purchase and he said it would take between 4 to 5 weeks for delivery.  It took a little more than 4 weeks.
They called to schedule installation and were right on time.
They installed the awning and showed me how to operate it.
They cleaned up and left.
The installers were personable and professional.
There were small installation options that the installers gave me to decide such as centering and pitch.
It all went as smoothly as I would have expected.
I am very satisfied with my purchase.
The installation occurred yesterday so I have had no need to call back for any follow-up services.

The sales rep Ritchie showed up on time for his appointment. He was well prepared with examples, samples, ipad pictures,
and brochures.
We were very confident in what Ritchie explained and how the whole process of his company handles the work.
We placed the order a few days later! I'm an expert in the Maryland Court System--now retired--in all facets of residential construction. From the time we placed the order we were kept informed of the process, tentative dates, and final dates as the manufacture of our order progressed.
The install date was set and kept!!!!!
The install crew could not have been more knowledgeable of the product, and how to install it. They were awesome.

Installer arrived on. We discussed best way to install electricity and came up with the best plan. Finished and cleaned up in timely fashion.

The guys showed up promptly and prepared to install three new storm shutters on our new home. They persecuted through heavy rain and hi winds to complete the job on time. We were very impressed by their work ethic and the quality of their product.
