KIDS COTTAGE

I placed my infant and toddler at Kids Cottage after relocating to the area. I will say that I did not have any issues in the infant room, other than the room temp was very cold and my baby was always chilly when I picked him up.
My toddler is another story. He came home with more bruises and the teachers could never tell you what happened. He came home with a bruised rib and when I asked them what happened their response was, and quot;Oh does he cry if he gets hurt?and quot; The teachers spend most of their time talking to each other and not paying attention to the children on the playground. The facility is gorgeous but the staff and lack of management needs work. Whenever I pulled up to the parking lot, he would cry that he did not want to go. The last day that made me withdrawal him from the program was when I walked in, saw a couple of teachers talking to each other and not paying attention and another kid went over to my son and hit him in the face with a toy truck.
After withdrawing him from the program, I took him to Lewes Montessori School. He loves it! What a relief!

They are the best in the area. They have a nice facility that they keep clean and they redo areas that got a little bit worn. I think the people who work there are very good. They do have people who are qualified teachers who are in the school system as well as other people who are just good with children. They have a nice program and it keeps the kids interested. They watch over them and they have good time inside and they have time outside. We are very happy. If you are registered in their program and if it is for drop-in, it is like $7 an hour. We tried several, but this is the one that we like best and he liked best. They are not cheap. All the people there are so nice. If there was anything that we have left out for that day, they are very good. They are open when they say they would be and we can pick him up anytime.
