Repair completed 12 hours after I first contacted Angie's List. Exceptionally responsive.

As a home sales consultant in Long Neck, Delaware, my customers frequently ask me for recommendations before they have work performed on their homes. I have never hesitated to recommend Shelter Construction to my customers, friends, and family members. Shelter Constructions work ethic, honesty, and quality of work are second to none. Everyone who has used Shelter Construction has thanked me profusely for recommending them. I will continue to recommend Shelter Construction to everyone.

Hire him.
We spent a long time looking for someone to do our deck/porch. In "lower slower Delaware," that meant meeting some interesting characters. We were pulling our hair out. Some of them clearly did not understand the complexity of the roof-line for fitting the porch to the existing home. Some could not show up sober. Then we saw the logo on Phil's truck when he was replacing the roof on Ocean View Liquors, on Cedar Neck Road. We called. He showed up, understood the project we proposed, prepared a very competitive bid, and delivered on every promise he made. Excellent work, creative and flexible thinking, prompt, and honest. We recommend him to everyone.
The porch/deck project was in 2007. The next year, one of our parents had a bad roof leak on a rotting rubber roof. People gave us crazy estimates on the work. We called Phil. Job done. Reasonable rate. Hooray. Then our own roof leaked at the dormer flashing. Called Phil. Perfect work, and a perfect pleasure to work with. All of that is pre-2010. Now we have a leaking roof vent (pipe?). (What is it with the builders out here?!!). I couldn't find Phil's contact information anywhere, and I thought he had moved. I had to hire someone else. Big. Mistake. They have supposedly "fixed" the problem twice. But their "fix" is so awesome that I now have to replace drywall. Meanwhile, I rediscovered Phil's contact info. (Oh thank God.) Bottom line: I don't want anyone else working on my roof out here, ever again, and I won't use or recommend anyone else until Phil retires.
Seriously, if you are in the Ocean View / Bethany Beach / Millsville / Fenwick area and you need roofing repair, Phil Deeck is the man you want doing the work.
