Seaquels Furniture Consignments

I was very skeptical at first but Seaquels was recommended to me by a designer (whom I trust)  who works at a Fenwick furniture shop.  I had a very poor experience with another consignment shop in the area who wanted to sell my 3 month old coffee table for whatever they could get.  I purchased the coffee table 3 months ago for $600 and paid an additional $125 for the glass top.  I'm a realist.  I don't expect to get $700 for the piece, but I'm not willing to accept $100 either.  Which is what the other shop wanted to sell the piece for.
Since the the coffee table is still being shown in many of the popular furniture shops in the area, I wanted to get a fair price. The staff were courteous.  They priced by item at $450 which I think is very fair & likely to get it sold in the next 3 months.  The experience was very pleasant.  They were upfront about their policies and emailed me within 2 business days of drop off of the piece to confirm the price & the "pick-up" date.  They also offer you the ability to donate your furniture to charity if you don't have the ability or desire to pick your piece up after the 3 month consignment period.
