Went beautifully.  I know the staff so it is a fun place to visit.   This hospital is in Ocean View and they also won Ocean City Animal Hospital.  I Ocean City Dr. Flood does Acupuncture and Lazer therapy.

$21! I've never paid more than $10. And when I got her out of my car there were blood spots on the seat. Certainly this could have been the vet techs issue, but this was too expensive and they should have used stypic on her.

I have reviewed this group before but never for Dr. Moulder specifically. I was seen quickly and actually had to drop my cat off. Dr. Moulder called me very soon afterward and let me know his diagnosis (a UTI) and treatment plan. He had me come back to retest but when I brought the cat back in, he said couldn't get a urine sample because he couldn't feel the cat's bladder. When I mentioned using an ultrasound he admitted the practice did not have an ultrasound machine. What a waste of my time and money (of course I had to pay for the follow-up appt. --- hmm)!! I'm afraid this is strike 3 for me and I will look for another vet. That he could not find/feel the cat's bladder indicates a novice vet, and that they do not have an ultrasound machine -- at the fees they charge! -- is just lax in my opinion. I like Dr. Maniatty and find him to be reasonably competent but the other 2 vets leave a lot to be desired! And Dr. Maniatty is only there 2 days a week.

My poodle was old, feeble and diabetic. I took him to the clinic because he wasn't eating, and I wanted to make sure that there wasn't something else wrong. The vet recommended a lot of tests that were very expensive (over $1500) even though I told her that I didn't want to put my dog through a lot of pain or suffering. I declined all the tests, got insulin to continue treatment for diabetes. The vet did not provide any other suggestions.

I can't quite settle on this vet, for several reasons. I have kind of a feeling that they are about the money. The first time I went I met with the female vet and she was no help at all. I took my cat in for allergies and she had nothing at all to say about that but instead fixated on some acne on my cat's chin and then tried to sell me some kind of ointment for it. This after waiting a good 40 minutes.
I decided to try Dr. Maniatty because they are so conveniently located. I found him to be very good at explaining things, very thorough and knowledgable. He did inspire confidence.
My problem with this vet is this. My cat became ill on a Friday night, of course. I called Saturday morning first thing to try to get an appointment. I had to call Ocean City because Ocean View is closed on Saturday (another negative). They didn't have an appointment but they could see the cat as an emergency, which would cost $150 -- just to see him. So, they had the time to see him, they would just charge me a very high rate. This to me is simply taking advantage. If they could fit him in why not charge a regular fee? Tthe search continues for a regular vet I can trust and feel confident with.

My dogs are used to women. The new doctor is a guy so it was a little tense at first.

My wife and I moved to the Delaware beach area in June 2011 and needed to find a Vet for our Dog, "Funky G." We asked several neighbors who they used for the Vet service. Everyone loved their vet, but none really stood out to us as someone we should go to. We did some searching online and came across Ocean View Animal Hospital. We decided to give them a call and make a 'general check up' appointment. We both went to meet the folks there, and were very pleasantly surprised with the friendliness, knowledge and service we experienced. They were much more friendly than our previous Vet in Crozet, VA. We have met both main Doctors and they are both very friendly with a great 'bedside' manners with their furry patients. They really helped with an ear problem that Funky G had been having for over a year and suggested a good ongoing maintenance for that (which our prior Vet never helped with). They've been very helpful every time that we have called with questions, responsive with requests and even have a 'pet portal' that helps us track Funky G's appointments, medicine scheduled, etc. online. They also have appointments available up until 6 PM, which has really helped since it's hard for us to get away from work any sooner. There have been some extended waits in the lobby, but that seems to be almost standard at any hospital/doc office for humans or pets. So far we are very pleased with our choice to got to Ocean View Animal Hospital and would definitely recommend to others.
