Master Movers

If I could give zero stars. Not a real business. Owner asked me to pay for his debt with moving truck. Two non professional movers who have been harrassing me that their boss unerquoted the job. Joseph, owner, lied to employees about job size and never did walk through. Was quoted 5 hour job, took TWO DAYS. Also, lied about business address and failed to show business insurance. Never brought a contract !

They took a deposit from me but Master Movers never showed up on the last day the house is selling, it's settled and I have no movers. I booked them 2 months in advance and he called me at 7:30 am to say that it wasn't safe and it wasn't even snowing. After speaking with them again, they showed up at 5:00 pm, with a rented truck, had 1 dozen blankets, no tie downs and only 2 men but in the contract there's supposed to be 3 people. We didn't finish until 3:00 in the morning. They told me that they didn't work for Master movers, whenever he double books himself he calls them to bail them out and since Master movers is not paying them, I have to pay them in cash and not deduct the deposit. I had to go back to Master Movers to get the deposit. It took me 3 weeks to get me my deposit back. When he came here, we chose him because he was so friendly and professional but from that moment it went down. He's completely not reliable and dishonest.
