MOLLY MAID of Northwest New Castle County

We have had a negative experience with Molly Maid of North West New Castle County. We starting using the service in September 2012 and have had to deal with inconsistent cleaning quality. The price was ok so we stuck with them. In October I was informed that my account was flagged for immediate price increase by Molly Maid corporate. I attempted to work out an agreement but was met with hostility. The office manager even hung up on me. I would be willing to pay more, but not for inconsistent cleaning quality and awful customer service. I do not recommend Molly Maid of North West New Castle County, not because of the cleaning quality, but because of the horrible customer service.

I think they do a pretty good job and I trust them.

Cleaning team arrived on time and did a reasonably good job of cleaning except for damage.  There was a ten inch tear in the kitchen wallpaper, the back of an antique chair was broken, and a styrene register heat deflecter was broken.  Strike one.

The team failed to call any of these items to my attention, although the torn wallpaper was very evident and the broken chair pieces were on the floor.  Strike two.

I attempted five times to reach the owner, Patrick Dunn, by phone.  Each time he was too busy to talk to me and returned none of my calls  Strike three and out.

The Office Manager, Kristen, did arrange to have a person come out to repair the wallpaper.  I took care of the chair myself.

They do good job. Even though they're a company, they make sure the same person always comes out.  It's not a new person that has to learn your house & your preferences each time. They've never canceled; they've always been consistent. It's worked out for us. Anytime I haven't been happy they've correct the issue.
