They were always in a hurry so much so that they did not test the system when they got the A/C unit hooked up and consequently the A/C unit leaked into my brand new basement and flooded my new carpet. I had to have the water extracted and now D & B Mechanical will not take responsibility for their error and pay for the water extraction.
The owner sometimes took days to return phone calls. He would tell me he was going to come over but wouldn't show up. He had an excuse for everything. Every time they came here to fix something, they broke something else.
I would not recommend D & B Mechanical for anything, ever.
"Wow, as we read your comment on angies's list it is heart wrenching to read after we installed your a/c system in the winter, we went through everything with you at the time of completion and you where perfectly satisfied with all the work we did. That is why you made your final payment and signed that you were satisfied with the work performed. It wasn't until this spring when we started your system up and that's when your condensate pump malfunctioned, when that happen you called me and after I offered to have it taken are of right away you insisted on using a company you were familiar with. We agreed that you would get an estimate first, instead you authorized Marlins to do the job and said them, "the contractor will pay for it" so they doubled your price. They charged you for a complete carpet cleaning which they never did. I told you at that time D&B Mechanical would pay half of the bill because it was NOT your whole basement carpet that was affected. It was a mere 5x8 section of a 20x 20 room. But sadly nothing pleased you, instead you would rather bash us on angies list. We have been in business for 15 years with no problems at all. I would believe this has to mean something. There is an old saying, you can't please everyone no matter what you do, but we surely tried; so if your going to bash a company at least tell the truth and the whole story."
