Very old, very large cherry tree dropped limb onto neighbors trees. It threatened those trees and his fence. John and his crew did a very good job of removing everything with no damage to trees or fence. The also cleaned up thoroughly. They were quick, efficient and neat with no damage to my yard or my neighbors. The cost was reasonable, I had gotten other quotes.

The owner called me to set up an inspection, on my schedule. We went over the job and agreed on a price. With good weather, they started the next day and were done in about half a day, to cut down the 40-50 foot twin-trunk poplar, cut it up, remove all the related brush, branches, and leaves, and haul it all away. They cleaned up really well before they finished.

He's very nice and prompt. He's reasonable and works all year around. He has a tree service in the summer and plowing in the winter time.

They really knew what they were doing. If it were not for the stump (and the missing dead/rotten poplars), you'd never know they had a truck in there to do the removal. We chose to leave the huge stump for now, but we'd definitely call John back to remove several stumps we have, if/when we decide to do that in the future.I originally called Kevin Poore at Tarzan Tree Service based on Angie's List reviews. Since Kevin was on vacation, his brother John Poore called me back about an hour or so after I left a message. John came by that afternoon to assess the trees and give me an estimate. From what I had read and heard from some neighbors, it sounded like a fair price. Since we were lucky those trees did not fall on the house during Irene, I accepted his bid right there. John had a cancellation the next day, and he told me he'd be there by 9:30 am the next day unless the weather forecast called for rain. He'd call if he had to cancel. With a sunny forecast that morning, they showed up on time the next day and got right to work after explaining how they would proceed. It took about 4 hours just as John anticipated. Eveything went smoothly, and I was very satisfied. I'd recommend Cheetah Tree to friends who asked.
