We moved our household and also items in a storage unit that belongs to my mother. I was told it would be more cost effective to move our house and her items at the same time. Our belongings were to be delivered to our new home and her items were to go to a storage, also in SC. I was told that her items would go on the truck first when loaded on 3/6 and our items would go in the back of the truck on 3/7. The day before delivery I received a call from movers saying they would be there the next day as scheduled. He enquired about what goes to storage and what comes to our house. I told him that they were to be separated. I was informed that all the items were mixed together and they were not informed of separating them. I was provided with a sheet to check off items as they are unloaded, but when you have 5 men pulling things out of a truck that is nearly impossible. Our items had green stickers and my Mothers items had orange stickers. After our items were unloaded we then went to storage unit to unload her things. 2 1/2 weeks later I am still trying to find some of our household items. I have and am still going to have to go to my mothers storage unit and sort through a 10x30 storage unit for our things which were to come to our house. I am 69 years old and my husband is disabled so it is up to me to sort through this mess. I have called Bayshore who is subcontracted through Allied Van lines and complained but since I am writing this bad review you can see how far that has got me. Our move was almost $8000, and my Mothers was $4000. I also want to mention that I have found broken items, some antiques that I am going to have to file a claim to have repaired or replace.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. The worst movers ever. A total racket. Driver pays crew so he hired one guy when the "crew" didn't show up. The one guy picked up someone in a store to help him. They broke so much of my furniture and other belongings. Broke my elevator needed to transport my disabled son. Driver was rude, arrogant, and had excuses and blamed me!!! Was promised a call from the owner - never received one. Did not compensate me for most of my broken items even though contract says it would AND I paid extra for that guarantee. I could go to arbitration but I don't have the money after this move. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Don't use them. I do hope this company goes out of business. A really bad bad experience and I don't want anyone else to have to go through this.

They were great. They performed three separate moves, the only negative thing was they dinged a few pieces of furniture.

They came and estmiated the cost of the move, and then arrived witha truck to small to move everything. We have had to rent a uhaul our sevels on 2 seperate occassions to get all of our things moved. And because they RENTED A TRUCK we were charged the time it took them to drive to the comapy rent the truck and arrive at our house. And during the truck pick up we paid the tiem for all 6 of the guys. And of course the truck they rented was TOO small.

The workers showed up on time, or a little before, and worked very hard. They were curtious and found ways to make the movie easier on both ends. When the size of the movie was too big, a second truck was dispatched promptly and included in the guaranteed price.

They were easy to contact, and were right on-the-ball with any questions or difficulties. They were quite conscientious. They were very flexible about the storage options and really took good care of our things. The facility is temperature controlled. They wrapped and taped everything, even the legs of the furniture, and created a custom-made crate for any breakables. They have an incredible system that keeps track of everythingand mdash;each box is individually numbered and listed, so you can check off each item as it is brought into your home. They stuck by their timelines, giving me the times that they would arrive and they actually came when they said they would. It was Bayshore that actually did the moving, so we were dealing directly with them, which put us at ease. For all of this great service, they were still perfectly competitive in price.

If I could give Bayshore 10 stars, I would! My task was to find a reputable moving company to move my 86-year-old mother's household from PA to CO so that I could care for her here. Since I could not be in PA to assist her, I was particularly concerned that she might be an easy target for a dishonest mover. After reading the Angie's List and BBB reviews for Bayshore, I contacted them for an estimate. From the very first contact, to the on-site visit by Erin, to the packing and moving crew, to the follow-up phone calls by Joannie, WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED. There is no way to describe the efficiency and professionalism of the company or the moving crew. We were expecting grumpy old men and instead were greeted by an energetic, friendly, respectful crew of young men. They were not only polite and respectful to my mother and my family, but to each other as well. Nothing was too much to ask, and they never got annoyed by anything we said or did. Jerry had everything under complete control. He called several times to give us updates on his arrival and delivery times and actually arrived a day earlier than the delivery window. When we couldn't accept delivery until the following day, he assured us that it was no problem whatsoever. Once the unloading began, he never stopped working.
The day after the move, when we couldn't account for two items and called him, he called right back and knew exactly where they had been placed. Unbelievable is all I can say. On top of all that, the actual cost came in less than the estimate. Add honest to the list of adjectives to describe this stellar company. It is still difficult to grasp that they were able to turn my mom's anxiety into a feeling of complete confidence. I cannot recommend Bayshore highly enough.

It was great. They were prompt and very careful with the move. I have moved several times and this was definitely a good experience.
