We used Waste Management but a local waste company had just drop off a brochure offering a lower rate so I'm kind of looking of changing waste management companies. They charge $150 every 3 months but the new company is offering it for $65 a quarter or every 3 months. I have to do my research. Waste Management does trash and recyclables and they're really good with that. I've have no problems with them at all. I've been happy with them. They come every week. They pick up trash on one day and recyclables in another day. What stands out about them is their reliability that they are here every week. Also if there's a holiday, we will get an automated message that tells us when they'll be collecting. That's a big help right there when they do that. They do fine with their work. I hear them sometimes but I don't usually see them. They're obviously not the cheapest but I don't know about other waste management who use landfills so I can't say their price is horrible.

They were fine with the collections. They began charging fuel surcharges when gas prices went up, but never lowered them when gas prices went down. They started adding administration fees. When I called to complain, they did lower my price a bit. While that seems nice, what that tells me is they are charging everyone more than necessary so they can do something for those who call and complain. I would just like to see them charge a fair and reasonable price to everyone.
I asked if I could just get every other week waste pick up when they come for recyclables, but that wasn't possible.
Then the fees went up again. I switched to a locally owned company.
