The three brothers arrived promptly, met with me to discuss the job, left to get the materials needed. Upon their return, they corrected each problem professionally.

Nice people. Tree trimming was conservative but too much so that we're hiring someone again to retrim one of the same trees a year later. One of the trees died a month after they trimmed it --sap and beetles. Was perfectly healthy prior and understand that this can happen but it took a long time to hear back from them on how to handle it and got quoted high to remove the dead tree.

It all went well although first was delayed by rain.  The trees were coming down in order for a solar system to be installed.  The installation of the panels had to wait until they completed a part of their work as to not put the panels at risk of scratching.
This job was larger and more difficult than they had expected because some of the trees were very tall and close to fences, neighbors property and buildings.  The last and largest tree required moving of a shed.  They did a great job of moving the shed and putting it back where we asked.
John's crew works very hard (as does John) when they show up.  The one issue I had was they didn't show up on the days expected nor finish the job when they said they would.  They're not good at communicating so you're just sort of left leaving messages. 
Once they're there the work ix excellent and much less expensive than competitors.  So if you're wiling to put up with the "slower lower" Delaware attitude...it's worth it.

Started job as arranged, left less than half done.  Then failed to show or communicate on several occasions.  Called to advise had hired someone else and they demanded payment for work done and wanted an opportunity to finish job for price originally quoted almost six months after job was started.  Will never do business with them again.  Very unprofessional.

They are local people and I had a coupon. They did a good job. They charged $200 for the work this past summer. They charged the same price for the pear trees and they were not near as big. They were going to charge the same price for trimming the pear trees as they would to take them down. I thought the pear trees should have been less since they were not near as big as the tree in the backyard. I would probably use them again since I’ve used them twice.
