Ronald W.
May 2014
It all went smoothly. After the power loss yesterday when, apparently, the valve between the incoming water and the lines lost prime, we lost water. The extended power outage gave time for the pump to lose the prime. When Bob replaced the valve, the old pump, which had run for quite some time with no water, could not reestablish a water flow. The pump was very old; it looked like it came off some WWII ship with corrosion and rust all over it. He replaced the 1/3 hp old pump with a 1/2 hp new pump. He also increased the size of the tank doubling our capacity. His demeanor was very professional, and he communicated to us exactly what was happening at every stage. He had to go to Georgetown for the new pump and tank, but by 4 pm, we were back in the water. The overall experience was excellent. The price of $950 for pump, tank, and labor seemed reasonable, and now we have water again. I highly recommend Bob's Plumbing for any plumbing needs!
