Just Like Home Pet Sitting

I had left my dogs many times for overnight. The dogs were very well taken care of and seemed happy there. Then, out of no where I tried to make a reservation and was told the owner Terry would be out of town. Tried 2,3 more times and given an excuse.Finally, I asked Terry what was going on. She told me that she had back problems and could not take on big dogs. Since she never told me of any problems with my dogs I believed her. Then 2 friends told me about Terry and, not knowing my past with Terry, highly recommended her. No where in her brochure does it mention that big dogs are not accepted. After using Terry quite frequently, I don't consider her a professional if she cannot tell me the real reason she rejected my dogs. If they were a problem, at least, in knowing, I would be able to try to fix it! When she started her business I gave her excellent recommendation on Angie's list.

I began using Terry's dog sitting service right at the time as she was transitioning into establishing her own business. At that time I had written Terry a very well deserved positive review on Angie's List.. After using Terry's dog sitting service many times for for various lengths of stay, she began to give me excuses as to why she was not available to watch my 2 dogs. She had never given me any reason as to why she could not take on my business. She had taken a photo of my beautiful Weimaraner for her website and this photo is still there as well as my very positive review. Something did not feel right and I asked her to please be truthful with me as to why she was rejecting my business. She told me she couldn't take on big dogs because of her back problem.However, there are many large dog photos on her website. Why couldn't she tell me the truth. We had never had a negative transaction. Now in the past few months, 2 separate friends of mine had told me I had to use Terry to watch my dogs. One friend had met her and one friend met people at a doggy park who recommended Terry.This really hurt. So, in summary, Terry was indeed wonderful with my dogs, however, her customer relation skills leave much to be desired.

I was comfortable with my decision to use Pampering4paws for overnight petsitting. The home was clean and Terry certainly pampered our pet! He was treated as a member of her family and had lots of playtime! I didn't worry and was able to enjoy myself on my trip!
