We used chimney sweep people for chimney sweeping and they are called Clean Sweep. Those guys are wonderful. They are very caring as it is a dirty job. They take a lot of precautions to make sure that they are always laying tarps over the flooring and make sure that nothing gets messed up. We have 3 large dogs and they interact with them and they are not afraid of the dogs. We had a beehive stuck in the chimney, one year, and they couldn't take care of it and they recommended an exterminator service to take care of that and got that taken care of. We have an old Victorian house that it takes some old type of staff to get on the roof and they are just very, very meticulous in what they do and safety comes first with that. They don't take chances on anything. They don't do chimney repair, we used them as a referral service all the time. They referred our chimney repair person, our floor repair person, our wood person. If we need anything done we call them and then they tell us who to go to. I don't know what they charge but my husband doesn’t complain. He would complain if it was too much and he wouldn't use them again.

They prepped the area and made sure they cleaned up after the job was complete! We are repeat customers.

Several week wait for available appointment. On that day they were prompt, even early. Work done as requested.

They were very courteous, prompt and finished much faster then I expected. I will be calling them if I ever need my chimney worked on again.

Had to wait several weeks for them to come out because they are very very busy. My call was returned by Donna, and she set up an appointment for them to come out to our house. It took several days for her to call us simply because she returns calls in the order they were received. The appointment was made for three weeks later as I explained above. I am stating this just so anyhone who calls them will know to call ahead of time. We can now have them come out in the spring to check our chimney so we will be ahead of the season this year. They are very thorough and explain everything so you can understand what is going on and why. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their chimney serviced and maintained.

We called on Friday to set up the cleaning sometime during the following week and were given an appointment for Monday, which was perfect. The team arrived precisely on time for the appointment (which had been easy to make on the phone). They were very professional in demeanor and attire, protecting the floor and hearth. Meticulous in the cleaning, wasting neither time nor motion.
We had several questions about difficulties lighting a fire and getting it to draw properly. They were very informative. They looked at the cap that had been installed and assured us that it was an appropriate and correct cap for our purposes, providing the desired
wind protection. They left us with several tips for ensuring that the airflow was up the chimney during fire start.
We were very pleased with their service and recommend them highly.

I have been working with them for about five years. I am very impressed with them. They are timely, very professional and clean. I can't speak highly enough about them. I am very impressed by the work I have received from them. In terms of price, it is difficult because there's not lot of competition. Even though there is not lot of competition, I feel I get a fair product for what I pay for. I would use their services again in the future. We have run into other home improvement issues where we kept looking up the yellow pages and asked them to come out and give us an estimate. We felt we are being shifted. When we call them up, they would say call this individual. We would recommend Clean Sweep Chimney Service Inc. We have had some exceptional work done like another chimney which we had to have rebuild or some flooring re-finished. They are just superb. They are pro on that. Its family run business. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are great to deal with.

Because the chimney was blocked, we could not run our heater because of fumes. We had no hot water nor heat. I called on Saturday morning and left a message. They returned my call first thing Monday morning and said they could come out Tuesday! They did just as they promised, and now we have hot water and heat! They were great. They will return soon to put a cap on the chimney so that this doesn't happen again. We used to burn wood in the upstairs fireplace, and they would come out to clean that chimney. We have dealt with them for many years; in fact, Ernie remembered my little daughter (she is now 27 and getting married this week) and asked for her. They are great people!
