My experience with Matt and Alex at Ancient Art Stone began with a warm welcome and discussing what I had in mind. They let me walk the showroom, granite and marble yard, they have a huge variety/selection after about 35 mins of looking at all the different colors, patterns and types I narrowed down my choices. Matt suggested I take samples of the three colors I liked home to see how it would look in my house and in the light. I live within a 20 min drive so I could see the sample in my house and return it the same day.
Once we figured out the quartz type and color, then we moved to the granite island and determined type as well. Matt set up a measurement appointment, the technician was on time and I was running 10 mins behind. He waited for me instead of leaving and making me reschedule. It was nice to have that level of customer service.
With the measurements done Matt called me within a day and ask me to come in and pick my slab of granite. He had two slabs of "Titanium" for me to pick from. The Slab Cutters had pulled out the slabs and were waiting for me so we could go over where on the slab would be the best part. They used their expertise to guide me to the best part of the slab and how it would look with the countertop.
The installation was perfect and the quick. They gave us instructions on what products to use and gave us a starter set of cleaner and sealer. I'll be going back to Ancient Art Stone for future work. They not only have an enormous selection of granite, marble and quartz they carry porcelain tiles, large, small and trims. Great people and a great company to do business with they made me feel I was just as important as some of the more larger and more expensive jobs.
"It was a pleasure working with both of you, I am glad we were able to meet your expectations. Thank you for the kind review. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you!"
"Was a pleasure having the opportunity to work with you on this renovation project. Thank you for the great review and kind words. If you need anything in the future please let us know!"
We got 4 other fee proposals and they were all within $500 to $1,000, but we felt like we needed to get several quotes as it was a big purchase. Given the minimal variation in cost, we went with Ancient Art Stone because we liked the granite better. The stone we selected has loads of bright blue that is lovely when the sun shines on it.
We would definitely consider them again if we replace the counters in the bathrooms, etc. with stone. They made it easy and were friendly and professional.
