I had to find out from a neighbor how to turn on the water. The on-off valve was under the house. We could hear water gushing out from busted pipes. The water was busted. A one-day fix, we thought. The short story is that the entire plumbing was frozen / busted and had to be repiped. Did the sellers know about this? Of course they did. The real deception was: the backyard shed was stuffed full of dead carpet, drywall leftovers, old paint. These items were not recycle able, and could not be left on the road for collection. It took hours to unload the shed, and then reload this 500 pounds back onto the empty moving truck. Then they were hauled to an out-of-state remote location and burned. It took three days. I gave Mr Johnson the courtesy of his response before publishing this on Angie's List. I asked for a 1% refund of the purchase price to cover plumbing and trash burning. Right away Mr. Johnson reminded me that it was an estate sale, and they are not required to disclose. He had done nothing illegal. He kept calling me ' Bud ' he said that MY agent was responsible for representing the house for me. My agent was not told where the water turn on was. She was not given access to the shed. I would have to pursue the real estate company. now living in the area, I overheard another agent saying, that another house had been misrepresented by Mr. Johnson. ~ items hidden beneath flooring. So there's at least two of us who despise Mr. Johnson. Maybe this writing will bring more forward. Mr. Johnson also said that he was not concerned about what people write on the net. So my point here is that Mr. Johnson collects money by any means available, including deception and that he is not ashamed, And he will continue to do the same without guilt. he offered me nothing, Bud.
