When looking for a small repair shop, I checked online and found him, Midway Services.He advised me that he had never seen a stuck cord like that but would look into. He also advised me upon dropping the power washer off that if the repair cost was going to be over $75.00, he would call me first to see if I wanted to proceed.
I received a call about 10 days later saying the power washer was fixed and ready to be picked up. I arrived and he said that he changed the oil a few times and said that I would have to change is several more times after each time that the gas ran out. I said fine, but I thought to myself, if he was not going to clean out the oil compartment all the way and I was going to have to do it, why was I hiring him. Nonetheless, I agreed. He proceeded to tell me that the cost was $125.00 more then the deposit of $25.00 I had already left on the day I dropped it off. Total cost, $150.00. This is double the original quoted price of $75.00 and not much less then buying a new one at Lowe's. Ugh! I was very frustrated to say the least but I had a working power washer and even though I would have to continue to fixed the oil changing on my own, I was satisfied.
The bad news happen after the first use of the power washer. The gas rang out like he advised me to do and then I went to change the oil and refilled the gas and oil and the cord was stuck again. I could not get the power washer to start. Here I am, with the same problem that I dropped the power washer off in the first place at double the cost of the initial quote and now it is not working again.
I felt and still feel totally taken advantage of and I would never use Midway Services again.

Midway Services took the trimmer in and let me know that it would be about 1 week for turn around. But in less time than that the trimmer was ready. Owner gave advice on maintenance during season and prior to storage. Things I already do but still good advice and reminders.
Trimmer runs fine and much better than after previous servicings.
