I hired a contractor who let me down when it came to plumbing and tile work. We had to totally demo their work and start over in two bathrooms. The HOA in my community gave me a few plumbing companies to call for estimates. I called three well-known companies in the area to get an estimate for replacing the shower drains, repairing or replacing the shower faucets, replace plastic shower riser with brass fitting, install a new toilet and take care of a few shut off valves. All three companies sent estimators to my townhouse. Of the three, only two companies provided me with an estimate in a timely manner, but both were ridiculously expensive. The third company didn't even bother to get back to me with a price or schedule.







Since I used Paradise Plumbing for an emergency sewer job at another location and was very pleased with Mike's work, I decided to see if he had time to take a look at this job. He came that very day and was willing to make the repairs while he was there. He and his men did the work in less than half the time estimated by the other companies and his price beat everyone. I was very impressed and will definitely be a loyal customer. I highly recommend him for any plumbing job.

He was great at responding to my call and finding my location. Work was done satisfactorily. Then i got his bill. WHOA !!!! He is a good plumber, but you will definitely and quot;payand quot; for it. Very Expensive. I didn't know we had any $100.00 an hour plumbers in our area . Probably more than that now. Just be prepared when you get your bill.

Ultimately the drain ran clear but the cause remained a mystery. The tech said he'd never encountered a problem like this and would talk to his boss when he got back to his shop to see if there was anything else that should be done. The only contact we had subsequent to that was the bill for $550. When I called the owner to verify that he was indeed charging that much for snaking a drain he said and quot;sureand quot;, his guy had spent 4 hours on the job. My thought is that if the 25' (or whatever it was) snake didn't work and the 100' snake produced the same result then the tech should have used some other tool or at least call his boss for advice which might have enabled him to finish more quickly. But even if it didn't, to charge $125 an hour to run a drain snake is, to me, excessive.

Story is above. I was very pleased with their work and with the price.

He went in and did a fantastic job. Other people had come in and basically done patch work jobs which made it worse. He replaced the hot water pipes at a reasonable cost and on an emergency basis, which was great. He has become our plumber through trial and error; we have gone through a bunch of plumbers over the years. We strongly recommend him, and we trust him. He is not cheap, but he is good, and does his work properly and he seems to care. He has a minimum fee to come out for a minimum call. Once we had him come out and do something, he said that we have to pay him $130 or whatever it is. He asked if there was anything else that he could work at. I said that my toilet has been slow, so he took care of it and looked at some other things for us to justify his coming out. This was at his suggestion, which I thought was very nice. His quality is very good. We would use him again in the future.
