I contracted with AMC to repair my gravel driveway after my sewer line was installed. Sam told me he would install the landscape ties if I got them. I did and drilled holes thru them for spikes to anchor them. His workers removed the old ties and attempted to install the new ones. They had no hammers for the spikes and had to use ones I gave them. The ties are not straight and there are gaps between them (end are not flush where the meet.) Some ends are higher then the others. The day before the install Sam asked me what kind of stone I wanted and I told him give me what is already there #57 crushed blue stone. The day of the install he ignored my request and took it upon himself and showed up with pea gravel. (can not blow grass clippings out without blowing gravel). He had dropped 3/4 of the load before I went outside before I realized what he did .He said it was more expensive (a whole $10 a ton more but you don't need as much). He did not do what was requested and had delivered poor workmanship. I would not hire or trust him again.

Sam showed up and finished the job and when I drove to home in Delaware it was completed and it looked great. Sam said he would take care of it and he did. A man of his word.

I had my existing driveway re-paved. I also had it widened 8 feet. They did a great job with the exception of the last 5 feet of paving. They ran out of asphalt and had to come back another day to finish the job. They didnâ t use the asphalt layer to finish it, now it looks like I had a patch job.

Sam was really easy to work withâ ¦ listened to what I wanted and did not try to change my mind or try to convince me to get additional work done. He does not waste any time. I liked the fact that he worked right along with his crew and was on time. . I am very pleased with my driveway. Would highly recommend this company. They are very reasonable in price. Used Angi (Angies List) to locate someone to upgrade the stones in our 30 year old driveway. We had three call backs. One said the job was too small and the other highballed us for just the parking area. Sam was the third person to call us back. He came in person to take a look and provided an estimate via text/email within days of my online search. He did our entire driveway, from the road to the house and to the shop which probably adds up to more than 4800 sq ft--which was the measurement of his quote. Considering the price of materials and fuel right now, we thought he gave a fair price. He was available to complete the job immediately, but we needed to wait a few weeks. He arrived on time at 7am and the job was completed by 11:30am. He did more than what he promised in the quote. I would recommend him and his crew to friends and family without hesitation.

They were quick to come give an estimate with 2 options and costs. Once they were given the go ahead they completed the project on the second day. Only reason it wasn’t the next day was my wife and I were not going to be home.

Friendly, knowledgeable,. Driveway looks great! It was over run with weeds and grass to the point that I couldn't tell where my yard and driveway should have been separated. I mowed it all. They cut and graded a new driveway, taking all the weeds out. Then i got 2 layers of tiny gravel put in, leveled and packed. There was enough left over so I can spread gravel down our walk way to level it out for a future home project too. The price was much better than a competitor's quote.

Very glad to have found this company. AMC Paving restored and improved our pea-gravel driveway and parking area, which had become overwhelmed by weeds. Using no chemical herbicides (thankfully), AMC removed all intruding vegetation, and excavated and regraded before spreading a deep layer of stone. The work was done efficiently and professionally by a great crew. Very fair pricing. Highly recommend this contrator.

Sam was great to work with. They came on time and finished on time if there was a 6th star I would rate them higher! You will not go wrong with them. The end product was my new driveway that is just gorgeous.

For the first time, I went with the tar and chip instead of straight gravel. Hopefully, this will cut down on weeds in the seasons to come. Looks great and I have gotten several complements already on the new driveway. Job was done on 7/21/20. I also went from red gravel to the natural whitish-pink stone; I really like the change. Sam McNeil and crew did an excellent job overall.

Sam, the owner called me quickly, came out to give me an estimate quickly & got the job done quickly. Their price was almost half of other companies. They were polite & friendly. Came in and knocked the job out in under 6 hours. I would definitely use AMC again.
