I have been using them since 2005. They are all good. Usually it is only 2 different guys who come here. One time I thought I smelt propane, and I thought I had a leak, so the guy came out and checked out my line. The other guy came and checked my furnace. They explain things too. I do not touch anything on the furnace or the air conditioner as I do not know anything about them.

They ran a mandatory hard credit check on us which sits on my credit report and impacts my score for two years. Never heard of that from a utility before! Called when tank was 50% to get a refill. They showed-up two weeks later. They want to maximize what they drop, I want to buy at the lowest price and play the pricing. I will never tell them the amount I have left again. They hold off on delivering and the price was higher. I want to manage my cost per gallon, they want to maximize it. I would not use them unless I had to!

"Our Customers have a choice to receive Automatic Delivery where we monitor their tank or they can be a Will Call Customer where the Customer monitors their tank. Please review our policy. Automatic delivery of propane to the address indicated will no longer be made. It will be my responsibility to let Sharp Energy know when I need a delivery and that it may take 7 business days to work the delivery into the delivery schedule. Sharp Energy recommends I contact my servicing office when the tank is at 30% to allow such scheduling. [member name removed] requested a Will Call Account with Sharp Energy which means that they are responsible in monitoring their tank. When the [member name removed] called into the office to request for a delivery there tank was at 50% and with a 330 gallon tank that means they had 165 gallons in their tank at the time they called in. The [member name removed] also signed up for a program called the Smart Club where they receive our lowest residential price which is a great program. I would suggest that the customer sign up for our Easy Pay Plan which is a budget plan that can help them budget the cost of their propane. Inspection was thorough but a separate communication to salesman of a potential problem with lack of heat was not communicated to the technicians. 

There are different plans available.  I had to trust that the salesman was honest in selecting the best plan for my situation.  Price fluctuations are, apparently, common during the winter months.  More availability of historical market information would be helpful.

They are pretty good. I'm on the budget plan so it is around $200 a month. The price is fine. They are punctual and on time. I’ve been using them for 10-15 years.

They come around periodically just to check and make sure your gas levels are good. They have an online payment system which I like. The driver is very personable and friendly.
