Plumbing was incorrect & we had someone else come in to fix it. Shower head was installed way too high on the wall, and a piece in the faucet was in backwards. Cabinet top was crooked; asked for fix and the fix did not correct the problem. Many different workman coming in - not always at the time they said they would be there. Not everything was written down, so a few extras were not done that we had expected.
Shower door is great - custom made because they could not find a shower door NOT made of clear glass - odd size. Had to call several times for them to come and finish work.
Had creative ideas, but the company had no clear organization to follow through on a job and make sure it was right. We finally came to the conclusion that we didn't want them back in the house.

What stood out was their affordability. My interaction with them was fine. I did a comparison price and they matched it with better quality. So far, so good. They did the work and we closed the house a week later. The work is fine as far as I know, I just haven't lived in it to experience it.

windows-the owner and i went over specifics of windows.i originally wanted the inside trim finished in white when the windows were to be built by manufacturer.the owner strongly suggested that he would rather order the inside trim unfinished so we can match the inside of window trim to the color of the trim around window.i agreed and he was to order windows with unfinished inside trim.windows arrived with  white finished trim.when asked he said he did not remember that conversation.i accepted the windows as is.
tile-i was told i would receive 20% off list price of tile.i only received 10%.not very happy about that but,10% is better than none.
vanities-we had several conversations on design,he had multiple pictures of vanities and what they should look like.he gave all information to he cabinet builder.the front face and drawers were supposed to be flush all the way across.the first time i came to see them they had recessed the front and the drawers.we discussed what they had done and he said he would rebuild them.the second time i came to see them the front was flush and the drawers were recessed.we discussed what they did and they were to fix that.finally i came to pick them up.i brought them home and went over them.the paint finish was horrible.from the vanities being painted numerous times the finish was like 100 grit sand paper.i returned with vanities and discussed findings with owner.he returned my money for vanities and we parted ways.

Overall, the company did a great job. They encountered several problems due to the way the builder installed the original countertops in both the kitchen and one bathroom. But they were able to figure out a way around the problems and proceed with the job. They were very professional and courteous. The workers showed up on time for when they were scheduled, but the time didn't always agree with the time we were told. They were also great about cleaning up.

If I had one complaint it would be the miscommunications that occurred between the office staff and the workers.

Agreement; new countertops, cabinets, flooring paint and misc. to include the removal of a 6' wall, add chair rail and crown moulding, The manager,John agreed to remove old cabinets for me to give to my son. They removed them with sledge hammers. I didn't know what all that noise was until I seen the pile of busted wood. They said they weren't told to remove them to save. I told John but I didn't make a big deal of it. Moving on, when the cabinets arrived instead of base cabs for one side there was wall cabs.  They had the wall marked to install them when Istopped them.  They re-ordered the correct cabs.(minor problem). We ordered an  island with an extension to use as a breakfast table. It came without the extension and I let John talk me into accepting it. My first mistake! When installing the corian backsplash on the counter they used clear RTV.They left a gap of at least 1/8 in.. It had to be removed, planed down and properly attached. I told my wife It's time I watch all they do.When installing the floor tile they didn't jamb cut the door frames, they just square cut and angle cut the tiles and used caulk. They also cut tiles in half and INSTALLED them like that. I had to insist those tiles be replaced. The cabinet base frames were box-cut and installed that way. They had to be removed and mitre cut. I was assured they would run the microwave vent into the attic and out the soffet. They put it through my corner cabinet.  In their defense, I didn't see any other way of doing it. They mounted a base cabinet over a floor vent and I found this out later when I noticed the counter top was hot along with      everything in the cabinet. My son fixed it.They installed shoe moulding on top of a floor vent and a piece of drywall. They were ready to caulk the 3/16th in. gap when I had them remove it and found the piece of drywall holding it up. You cant imagine how bad the 4x4 backsplash tile was installed. It was not lined up,had a chipped tile and tiles were sunk in or out past other tiles. (oh yes, I have pictures.) They had to remove the tile and start over. The stove was installed and could not be pushed to within two inches of the wall. The large plug was in the way.  They came back and put an 18" cord on it. It could now be pushed to the wall but couldn't be pulled out. They connected the wire by crawling on the counter and getting behind the stove. They (electricians) seemed mad when I said I need to be able to pull the stove out. Their response "What for?"  It had to be corrected after I talked to the owner..  About a week after I paid them I noticed the stove  vent was not venting. I decided not to call them but to check it myself. When I went to the garage to lower the attic steps I found the steps busted and one step board missing. I managed to get to the attic and this is what I found. Someone had put an oil-soaked piece of plywood in the attic to walk/crawl on and left it there. What a fire hazard. Insulation was strewn around. I called the owner and he had the board removed and the     insulation placed. I showed him the broken steps and he accepted responsibility. After a few weeks I contacted him and he set up an appointment with me, at my house for 1pm on 28 Dec. He never showed nor did he call. Since then I have repaired the pull down steps. It should be noted that during the ongoing work I called and had two different appointments with John. He never showed for either one. When I asked him why he said oh yeah, I forgot..  There are things still wrong but I will not call them again. I have pictures of all that I mentioned except the busted cabinets.   Thank you.

This was the pipe which was put by one of his workers 11 years ago when the kitchen was remodeled and he came to put it back.  He was here in an hour and half.   My kitchen looks really nice.  Between them and me we got a nice design and put down half a wall.  They opened up a wall going to the dinning room.  His cabinets cost more than any other cabinets in Delaware except custom made cabinets.  The original workmanship was not that good.  He hired a kid and the kid didn’t turn out to be good.  I rate him highly because over the years he has been extremely responsive in correcting difficulties I have.  11 years after I had the job done he hustled here to fix a pipe.

They were only relying on one person to do the work. They were ok though. They have finished the work to our satisfaction.
