Bright Side gets a 5 star rating. They had good reviews from a few people I knew in the area. They have very fast, professional and courteous workers and used high quality GAF roofing rated for 50 years and 130 Mile per hour winds. The roof looked great. Roof replacement was completed quickly and professionally in one day. The crew did a good job of cleaning up the old shingles. They also used a large wheeled magnet to retrieve the fallen nails from the old roof around the house. I do my own lawn and shrubbery maintenance and nothing was damaged. I also have grand children who play around the house and in my shrubbery. Not having to watch for nails was a great relief. I was told that this crew was one of their best and fastest. That was very reassuring. They replaced bad porch roof rafters and plywood roofing as I requested with Matt, the site manager. They did a good job. No leaks in several two day rain periods. The entire roof Fascia was removed and changed to PVC board fascia by the Bright Side carpenters at my request. I furnished the PVC Fascia to replace the aging wood Fascia that would no longer hold the gutter nails or a paint job. I am getting too old to enjoy these house painting joys. The Bright Side carpenters did a professional job installing the new PVC Fascia. I was pleasantly surprised in that at no additional cost, the carpenters used special screws to attach the fascia boards instead of nails making the installation more solid. The old gutters were extremely long and difficult to remove to replace the Fascia.  The backs of the longer gutters were no longer straight. Looking at them with Dave the Manager, I decided to replace the gutters as he recommended. Re-use of the old gutters would cause leaks and streaks on the new very white Fascia boards. I am pleased I decided to also replace the gutters. Brand new white gutters on brand new white PVC fascia boards made the house look sharp giving great contrast under the new roof. I almost do not recognize the old house. It looks so new.

They first installed a deck for us. We ordered 19 ft long pieces of deck flooring specifically because we wanted our deck to be long and narrow. We were not there on the day of the job and the supervisor cut our long 19-foot pieces into smaller pieces because he thought it would look better going the other way. Why would we have ordered 19-foot if we did not need 19-foot? They gave us a discount on a future job because they did not want to have to take the deck up again and reorder those 19 ft long pieces of flooring. So we had them lay a concrete sidewalk to our driveway. Within a few months there were cracks and pits in the concrete. The owner was supposed to come by several times and did not show. He finally showed up and said that they want to work with us and get this resolved. After more phone calls and lots of e-mails back and forth he finally said that no there was nothing that they would do. Very dissatisfied.

The Project Rep was always available to answer any and all questions anytime I had them. I was away at the time but my sister who is close by said the clean up was impeccable and you never knew they were even there except for the beautiful new roof.

Damien was very professional and took the time to go over my options. Best warranty around. Installation crew was very efficient. They did a great job.

Company uses top quality products and guarantees my roof for 50 years. This will be a huge selling point when I sell my home. The work was actually completed when I was on vacation and the change and look of my roof was vastly improved. My insurance company wanted pictures of the workers on the roof and the signed contract with Bright side while I was on vacation and Bright side took care of it all. Excellent customer service! Definitely recommend this company!

Did the job quickly - completed the entire roof in one day. Cleanup was excellent. New roof looks great. There were no unexpected costs. I felt very comfortable with skill level of the roofers and the project manager.

I am very satisfied with the work overall, but need them to address this 4ft long gutter/downspout issue remaining. It is not work that I can do anymore.

On time with project

My biggest concern was I hired them because I needed my project done ASAP due to insurance issues. Now to be fair, it rained a lot but I had to follow up to make certain my project was on the schedule. My project didn't get done on time as promised but it worked out!

One word describes the men and their work: integrity.

I initially called them to see if they could repair my roof, he couldn't. Now I didn't think I could afford a new roof because we already had 2 layers of shingles up there & I thought it it was going to be super expensive to tear off the old roof. So I asked him anyway how much it would cost & after he explained to me what he would replace it with & all of the tear off & underlayment costs I was beyond shocked. I went into this thinking it would be around $30,000 dollars, which I couldn't afford, he quoted me $13,500 with everything including a 50 year warranty for the shingles & a 25 warranty for any repairs. We also have about a third of our siding is vinyl & it was looking tired so for another $2500.00 dollars they could redo the siding as well. So for $16,000 dollars I could get a new roof & siding. I thought about it for about a day & told him to go ahead. I can't say enough nice things to say about the job they did. I was there the entire time they worked & they did everything they said they would do & more. Our house looks brand new! My husband & I are so thrilled with the results! When I can afford it I am going to get them to replace the sofit, fascia, gutters & downspouts too. They were wonderful, professional & fast. In two days they had everything done, which I still can't get over. They cleaned up everything up afterwards. My neighbors are even raving about the job they did.

I had to replace my roof it was 27 years old and leaking, so I contacted several roofing companies for an estament. When each one came and looked at the roof and answered my questions. However, Jason from Brightside Roofing came into my house and we set down at the family room table where he explained to me how they would do each step of replacing my roof. He then explained that Brightside, only used GAF materials, and that GAF had a system that they guarantied the shingles for 50 years and the roof for up to 130MPH winds. Jason also told me that they had paid a company to due aerial measurement of my roof and that's how they buy their materials. I did not understand everything, but I did understand 50 years and 130MPH winds. When I hired Brightside, I was told approximately when they would start and how long it would take to due the job approximately 4-5 days. I have a big roof! They called and ask if it would be ok if they started the job early, I said ok and they began at 7:15 Monday morning and finished in 3 1/2 days. Their crew did everything that Jason promised. Brightside's site foreman Nick ensured everything was done properly and he would explain why things were done the way they were, so I actually understand the why and how of the process. If you read different reviews you are going to read words Like professional, polite, courteous, responsive, my experience would be AWSOME they did what they said for what they said!!!
