Val Escobar, the owner of Sequoia Landscaping, Inc. contracted with us to install a patio and walkway around the house using pavers and poly sand between the pavers.
Unfortunately, whatever he used between the pavers was not poly sand because after only two years, the sand has washed out of some joints and ants have burrowed through in other places.
I had the patio and walkway inspected by other professionals doing this work, and the unanimous conclusion was that poly sand was not used.
Mr. Escobar refuses to acknowledge the omission of the poly sand but promised to pay for the replacement of the sand. After we obtained two estimates and submitted them to Mr. Escobar, he reneged on his promise.
It will now cost us over $2,200 to replace the sand.
