They have an installation service. I have used them several times for small projects like installing ceiling fans. They are really good. I am thinking about changing out my toilets. I am getting disability approved toilets. I think I am going to use Lowe's because they are good. They have installed security doors for me. I do not remember the price but I remember it being reasonable. When I say reasonable, I mean it was not cheap but I did not feel overcharged either. After the work was done, I felt that one of the fans was off balance a little bit. They sent that same person out again without charge to balance it correctly. I really think that a lot of people, once they get your money, they just want to walk away from it and the responsibility. I never got that sense. They came right back out, took a look, tried to balance it to get it right. I was really impressed by that. They are really responsive. There is no hemming and hawing. They just sent him out to take a look at it. From start to finish with the communication, it was about 2 weeks. Someone was always available. When they called me and I was not here, they left a message. It was easy to contact them again and speak with them. It has been my experience that they always stand by their work and they should not have any problems. They clean up was good. I do not remember having to clean up anything that he left. He did a thorough job because I am studious about how my house looks.

The installer came and removed the original flooring, installed backer board and never returned to complete the project. I did not have use of half of my home to include 2 bathrooms until I was able to find someone to complete the project

They came out with the contractor who was to do the work (Atlantic Heat). The salesmen were knowledgeable and professional. We were able to get financing and options on different units/components. What I liked best was the guarantee that the contractor was not going to be paid until we were completely satisfied. The contractor did a fine job, but due to a manufacturing problem, they had to come out a few times. Lowe's called us to keep us informed and made sure we were satisfied. And I love my wifi thermostat!

The privacy fence: We had someone from Lowe's come to the house to provide us an estimate on the privacy fence. He was courteous and thorough. Lowe's came in with the lowest bid so naturally we hired them for the project. With Lowe's, the contractor handled the permit process (we live in the Town of Smyrna), which was another reason going through Lowe's to have the fence installed was so convenient. Other vendors required we handle the permit process. The contractors did great work. As soon as the permit was approved they came out and put the fence up. They were professional, clean cut, and worked quickly and efficiently.
The storm doors: This was a disaster. We paid the $35 to have someone come to the house and measure the door frames. This happened very quickly. After Lowe's had the measurements they called me every day letting me know I can come in and order the doors. It was Firefly weekend so we weren't jumping at the bit to drive to Lowe's that weekend and I was feeling a bit pestered with the relentless calls. We paid the money to have the measurements taken--we're not going to forget that it was done!! So when traffic was back to normal we went to Lowe's and ordered the doors. The woman who waited on us seemed to be living on another planet--she was absent minded, offered poor customer service, and never asked us what door handle finish we wanted. When I told her I wanted to make sure we would get the correct door finish--brushed nickel, to match our current front door--she was rude to me and acted as though I shouldn't be asking that question. We went and paid for the doors and install at the register and received the call a couple days later from the contractor to schedule the install. On the day of install it was raining so we assumed it would be rescheduled. The contractor showed up, with the doors in the back of his open bed truck, and waited to see if the weather would clear. He took his tools out in preparation. Suddenly, he left, after telling my husband he had an emergency. We were baffled--his tools were gone, he was gone, and we were left in limbo. Was he coming back? Could we go on with our day? Did we need to stay at the house? I called Lowe's to complain and in turn they called the contracted employee. Lowe's called me and said he would be returning. Eventually he did return but he didn't come up to the house to let us know he was back and he didn't tell us whether he felt he could install the door that day. I called Lowe's again and let them know the contracted employee was sitting in his truck and never came to the door to let us know he was back and whether he could install the doors--where is the communication!!! I'm a working professional in Wilmington and I'm no shrinking violet--I'm one of those people who doesn't care whether they are liked or not. Lowe's had called the contracted employee in his truck and explained that I was not pleased. In turn, he came to the door and rang the bell and was standing there with an attitude when I opened the door--until he saw the expression on my face and realized he better be careful. He stopped wasting our time, as there was no way a storm door install could happen that day, and finally left, enabling us to move forward with our day. The work was rescheduled. The second time the contractor sent out a real professional with a proper attitude and work ethic. He installed the doors and everything was fine until I saw the storm door handle, which was shiny gold. I called Lowe's displeased. What's the point of taking an order if Lowe's isn't going to even see to it that they get their contractors the right product?!?!? Luckily, they had an extra door handle in brushed nickel on hand and the contracted employee went to pick it up and change it out the same day. The thing that frustrated me all the more was that Lowe's tried to shirk the blame on us and then the contractor. First they said my husband and I bought the wrong door--we bought paper, I said, that reads on it BRUSHED NICKEL. And as for the contractor, they are supplied the door by Lowe's, so how is it their fault? Anyway, we have decided we will never again do work through Lowe's. This was far too frustrating a process.

Lowe's Home Improvement the people they sent out did really a good job. No problems with them. Lowes makes the arrangements and you don't have to bother dealing with the contractors yourself and their prices were good I thought and also they give military people a discount.

We are currently building a home in South Carolina. We decided to purchase the appliances here in Delaware to save a little money, and because we love our salesperson (Debbie in the Kitchen Dept.) from Lowe’s in Camden, Delaware.
We shopped around for the new kitchen appliance set called the and quot;White Ice Collectionand quot; and a HE washer and dryer. We obtained a couple of quotes and called Debbie to see if she could match our best price.
She went above and beyond doing the research and talking to supervisors to match the price. The difference was HH Gregg had a rebate that Lowe’s didn’t offer however, they matched the rebate as well.
We have worked with Debbie before when we remodeled our kitchen in our previous house. She worked with us until we came up with the perfect design. She assisted us in all aspects of the process from start to finish. She has truly been a blessing to us.

Their prices are reasonable, and they seem to be very responsive, so if I ask them a question they will give me a reply.
