Heritage Shores Club

We planned our wedding almost a year in advance. The Thursday before the wedding around 4 pm I got a call from the Director of Sales saying we needed to think about rescheduling our wedding since Hurricane Irene was near. At this point it was too late to save the flowers (which we paid $2k for) and the cake (which we paid $1k for). If we rescheduled it, the photo booth would not show. We decided to let Heritage Shores make the call. They called me the Friday before the wedding around 915 am and said the wedding would be fine as long as we moved the time from 5:30 to 12 noon, so we went ahead as planned. They didn't set out the ceremony chairs that we paid over $600 for. After our ceremony (around 1) they told us we had to be out at 1:15 because of a tornado watch (which we had a DelDot worker in the wedding party who had told us the watch was lifted). After my Aunt gave the GM a piece of her mind, they decided to completely mess up my time line to cram everything in just so they could keep their money. They cut our ceremony 2 hrs short, rushed us so we couldn't get pictures, the food was horrible, they kept the left over food that I paid around $5k for, they butchered my cake, kicked us out without gathering all of our stuff and locked the doors behind us. The staff are some of the rudest people I have ever met. When we went back to pick up our belongings, the staff wouldn't even look at us. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, IT WAS A WASTE OF $11K! I WISH I WOULD HAVE STUCK WITH MY FIRST CHOICE, BAYWOOD!
