Rentals - Trucks
Highway robbers! My $19.95 per day turned out to be $145, for less than 6 hours and only 35 miles actual usage. First, they forgot to put the appliance hand truck onto the truck, so I had to go back. Then, even though I put three gallons of gas in the truck, they charged me $30 because the gas gauge wasn't back to where it had been, not allowing for the seven miles (more than a gallon as it turns out) that I consumed before retrieving the forgotten hand truck. They did refund the $1.19 per mile for the seven miles, but they would not recognize the gas that was also required or the fact that I would not have incurred the extra gas charges if they had given me the hand truck in the first place.
