Services we offer
We work with both buyers and sellers. With buyers we work to understand their goals, and (often) provide free staging!, and offer our expert opinions. Our goal is that the buyer will not just purchase a house, but instead purchase the right house. With sellers again, educate, then design a plan to meet those objectives. In order to a make seller's homes shine we coordinate all contractors, we listen to objectives

Some realtors charge lower commissions than 6% but I am convinced that the commission on this sale was completely earned and that The JLC Team's input significantly enhanced the sale price of the home.
Part of the reason that we were drawn to the house is that The JLC Team presented it so beautifully, emphasizing its strengths as a very "adult" home and showing off its unique attributes as a New Orleans style home with gorgeous iron work along upper and lower galleries running almost the length of the house. Their "staging" was masterful -- dramatic, but not over the top, and very tasteful. We have since learned that, rather than use "stagers," The JLC Team maintains several warehouses with high end furniture and unique pieces suitable for the homes they sell. Jackie Sink has a design background and it shows! After closing, we consulted The JLC Team for guidance regarding some of their furnishings, mirrors, and paint selections. They've responded immediately and their guidance has been very detailed and helpful.
Sellers and the JLC Team threw a party for the neighbors right before closing, while the home was still staged. Doing so was both neighborly and good for business. Since closing, we've met many of our new neighbors and they've stated they were very impressed with The JLC Team too. One thing we learned is that, before sale, The JLC Team advised the sellers to replace two very fancy Waterford Crystal chandeliers (living room and dining room) with one-of-a-kind fixtures that set a more modern tone. The sellers were able to sell the older chandeliers (at upwards of $6,000 each) and replace them with intriguing fixtures that cost far less (maybe 95% less) but would appeal to a much larger audience. I can attest that we would probably have been less inclined to purchase the house with the old fixtures (even though it turns out that they were very valuable and could have been re-sold) because we would not have been able to envision our possessions fitting in. That is just one example of the expert guidance that The JLC Team provided and that, I believe, made all sides very satisfied with this transaction. My experience with The JLC Team has persuaded me that selecting the right realtors can make a significant difference in the sale price of your home.
