Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of DC Metro

I've been nothing but happy working with Jeff for over a year now. Just a week ago we had a problem with our transformer -- the landscapers' fault, not his. He went out of his way to get this fixed for us. I had asked for him to come sometime in the next week -- he said he could come by sometime in the next few hours. He knows his stuff cold and communicates clearly and effectively. I highly recommend him for anyone interested in getting outdoor lights that work and look great.

We were very happy with the entire process. We called them to replace several lights that were out. While they were very happy to do that, they also informed us of the advantages of LED lights. In the end, we chose to go with the LED lights. They look nice and are low energy. The work was completed in a professional and timely manner. We will continue to use this company for our lighting needs.

The estimate we received was detailed and allowed our group of owners to make the right decision. We're pleased with the work, which was also done at a reasonable price.

It worked out very well. We liked them. We had them to service outside lights that was not working. They are about 6 to 7 years old. Very efficient and knowledgeable. They did very good work.

I purchased a big deal for this service and they were very good. They constantly work and don't break down. They do a good product and a good installation. Anytime I need a new bulb or a replacement I just call and they are right there. They are the only people we use. The owner takes a lot of pride in his work and the installation; he wants to make sure that the customer is happy. I have never had any trouble with him. He kind of makes you feel like family. The lighting has been working well since he installed it. Nothing they have done from the communication to the installation to the quickness of response is an A-plus. I would not be doing business with them if I did not like them in any way. If I thought they were expensive or were con artists giving me junk I would definitely tell Angie's List about it.

I think they would have done a very good job, but it was more than we were looking to spend at the time. They were very professional.

We live in the city and have a freestanding deck that backs up to an alley behind our house, and is relatively dark at night. It was difficult to go up and down the steps of the deck to the House due to the lack of light. OLP of DC came out to our house, at night, and assessed my lighting needs. We wanted to be able to entertain on our deck at night without the use of bright house spotlights. When they came out to our house, they brought a few different sample products, so that i had an idea of what the options were. They walked me through the the process, where the lighting would be placed, how it would be installed, and provided a cost estimate. We were eager to proceed with their services, and Margaret followed up via email and text to schedule the installation appointment. While we were not at home during the installation (it was done during the daytime), everything turned out perfectly. The communication was always prompt, polite, and professional. In short, OLP of DC hit a home run with their assessment, service, and final product and we are known as "the House with the great lighting" thanks to them!
