Damsel In Defense (DID) was founded in 2011 by two women compelled to help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. Based in Idaho and operating in all 50 states, DID manufactures personal safety products and offers free safety workshops. DID also gives back to partner organizations that are making a difference in the lives of those who have been assaulted. Our global efforts support girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking in India and Cambodia where DID has adopted two rescue homes. As an Independent Damsel Pro, I am passionate about the mission to equip, empower and educate others with safety tools and resources giving the confidence of personal protection at home and beyond. What I Offer I offer three primary presentation styles, depending on your needs and the time allotted. At the conclusion of the presentations, participants can visit my display of products (touch and try), ask any safety-related questions, and order products, if desired. We also accept preorders on the website here: https://www.mydamselpro.net/writerdamsel Lunch & Learn Seminar– I will come to your office or conference room, share safety tips, and demonstrate a sampling of our non-lethal safety products. Guests may bring their own lunch and I will provide the presentation and safety tools! (Approximately 30 minutes) Group Meetings – I will provide a presentation about situational awareness and safety for Schools, safe showings for Real Estate professionals, medical practices, workplace and beyond, as well as a full demonstration of a variety of non-lethal safety products which can be used to create a safety plan. (Approximately 60 minutes) Health & Wellness Fairs – I will set up a display table of safety products, product brochures and answer safety- related questions from fair attendees. (During the fair)
