Kamau did a good job on the work itself. He did the work that I requested, and didn't try to sell me anything additional.
I was underwhelmed with the service. Given that the labor was charged by the hour, I felt that Kamau definitely and quot;forgotand quot; things in his truck that would have been helpful to have. Two trips back to the truck seemed to take ten minutes. It probably ended up costing me an extra 50-75 dollars because the billing was done in segments of an hour. We ended up 5-10 minutes into the next billing hour.
If I didn't live in a condo with such limited storage space, I would keep the tools I need to do a job like this on hand.

The repair was quick and not expensive.
Based on this job, I would say that Mr. Anderson is responsive, trustworthy and competent.

Kamau Anderson worked quickly but thoroughly. For problems that turned to be a small fix, he didn't gouge on time or cost. Along the way, he made recommendations on maintenance and dos/dont's to avoid future plumbing problems. Kamau is knowledgeable about working with the older fixtures (which is great for my 100-year old house). He was informative on my options on whether or not upgrade to new fixtures/parts without pushing to buy new or make more work.

Kamau was great. He was able come out a couple of days after I called him. He was up front about his charges, which are by the hour. I told him on the phone what needed to be done and he was able to give me a rough estimate before even coming over. He showed up as scheduled. He worked quickly and efficiently, finishing in less time than he had estimated. He heard my leaky toilet while he was working and made a slight adjustment on it for no extra charge. He does plumbing too and I'd definitely call him if I needed someone for that. I highly recommend him. He's especially a great find for me, living in DC with only small jobs needed--not easy to find someone good who's willing to come on short notice.

He offers both great electric and plumbing services. I've used him for various electrical jobs all over my house over the years. He has worked on all kinds of little projects for me without any problems.
