One plumber came out and it took him about 20 minutes total. He was right on time, he was courteous and professional. He was all business and they called in advance to let me know they were coming too, so I liked that. He cleaned up before he left and their billing is reasonable. They tend to do the work and then bill later – they do not bill onsite.

During a repair call by Wilcox Electric (also on Angie's List), I pointed out a leak near a light fixture. Steve Wilcox recommended that I call John E. Barry Plumbing. The plumbing company was very efficient and responsive about setting up an appointment the very next morning, although there was some confusion the next day about when they would call to let me know the repair people were on their way. (I was told i would get a call after 8 a.m. Instead, the plumbers were at the door at 8 a.m.
The two men doing the repair worked hard to isolate the exact area where the leak originated before proceeding so they did not have to do random cuts throughout the house. They were thorough, polite, friendly and cleaned up when they finished.
I was pleased by the way the men worked and delighted by the speed with which Barry Plumbing tried to fit me into their schedule.

These guys acted fast and replaced the boiler in a day for a very competitive price. Thanks

Bill Head arrived the day after I contacted him to take a look at the house to write up an estimate. There are numerous projects we need and he provided estimates for all of them. For now, we just did the radiator pipe removal. Work took about 2 1/2 days. Workmen arrived on time. Bill Head arrived with workmen to explain job and confirm details of work. Good follow-up to make sure we were satisfied with the work.
