Genna's Construction

Genna's performed a very clean and expertly done job, provided a detailed written estimate up front, were very communicative, and honest. We love the new kitchen design and highly recommend Genna's Construction. We have certainly had great experiences with them, which has kept us coming back to them for multiple projects over the years.

Genna and Olga have done 5 projects for us in the past year and a half and have done a timely and beautiful job each time.  They make sure to stick to the schedule as much as possible, provide a detailed written estimate up front, are very communicative, and look for creative solutions to any problems that arise.  They renovated our den and bathroom and went above and beyond what we had even envisioned was possible in the space.  We love our new bathroom, which they designed the expansion of and did a beautiful job with the tilework, essentially gutting the entire space including the studs and building from the ground up.  We would highly recommend Genna's Construction.  We have certainly had great experiences with them, which has kept us coming back to them for other projects.

All my contacts have led to high quality and professional work, at highly competitive prices, and I am very pleased with the results. Forremodeling work, all major appliances and materials were purchased for me by Genna's, and his trade discounts were passed on to meanwhile he only charged for labor. Quite often, technical glitches occur with pre-ordered parts like cabinets, even from supposedly high-quality US manufacturers. Genna would repair or replace these manufacturing problems to meet his high standards, leading to excellent results. He is full of good suggestions for design alternatives, and knows sources for low-cost but high quality products, materials, or designers. I have recommended him to friends and family, and all are satisfied and repeat users.

Gennas did a great job for us on this kitchen renovation.  We had used them previously for bathroom and basement renovations and had great experiences each time.  This was another well-executed renovation and Gennas squeezed us into a busy schedule around the holidays and delivered a beautiful product on time and on budget.  Gennas made useful recommendations, noticed some underlying problems with previous installs and remedied them.  

We are very pleased and highly recommend.

- Super organized and professional -- estimates of both time and money were uncannily accurate. 
- Attentive to details -- eg sloping the tile on the window ledge to create a clean-draining soap rest. 
- Experienced enough to be creative -- eg putting together a smaller-sized cabinet, a larger-sized basin, and some drywall to create a "built-in" vanity in an awkward and nonstandard bathroom nook. 
- Honest and thorough in helping us stay within our budget -- letting us know exactly where we could economize vs. where investing in quality materials was important.
- When our project encountered huge, unexpected, and expensive complications caused by earlier contractors, Genna was knowledgeable enough to fix the problem, flexible enough to work through the weekends around his other scheduled projects, and considerate of the challenges this situation posed for us. 
- Friendly, patient, kind to cats and babies -- we're grateful to have Genna and Olga in our corner. (:

He's the one contractor I've hired because I like his work, and he's very good about keeping me informed on how things are going.

His first project was prepping my current home before moving in.  There were a number of maintenance items that had us worried about the house.  We figured that replacing some flooring, fixing up the bathrooms, as well as the interior paint would be good to do.  He is a perfectionist, so if he finds things in the wall that are in rough shape (like a bathroom that isn't waterproof), he'll make sure you're aware.  He'll also figure out what you can do in your budget.  Whenever we reach a decision point, he is very good about explaining the benefits and costs of all the options.  The bathrooms work perfectly, and they're very well done.  The deck is solid.  The paint jobs look great still, and I know everything is done well.

I trust his judgement.  His work has been excellent.  I recommend him whenever someone needs a general contractor.
