We take all out automobile repairs to them and we have for many years. We have stuck with them because we feel confident and know we are not going to get ripped off. We have never had to take anything back for something that broke or didn't work right.

They did the work as requested. Unfortunately it didn't fix my stalling problem.

He was great. I dropped my car off in the morning and they were done that evening. Everything was very quick.

I came in at around 9 am without an appointment, and a very nice guy saw me right away. He told me honestly that the check engine lights in VWs tend to come on sometimes even if there's nothing wrong with the car - something about how if you sometimes accelerate suddenly trying to go uphill or do something similar, the engine's computer sometimes gets confused and the light goes on. (His explanation was much more technical, of course.)
He told me it's also possible the at something serious is wrong - and named the possibilities - and then offered to check under the hood just to be sure. He shone the light into the engine and pointed out to me where the problem area would be if there was indeed something serious wrong. Turns out there was nothing wrong and he the check engine light was indeed not signaling anything serious.
Best of all - he did all of this for free. I asked him if I owed him anything and he declined to charge me anything. Just smiled and said to have a nice day! Huge difference from the dealer - who were going to charge me $100 just to and quot;diagnoseand quot; the check engine light issue.

It was great, they complete the tasks on my inspection report for a good price. Including securing my bumper.

Yes the prices are rock bottom low - but ever hear the saying and quot;You get what you pay forand quot;? Completely applicable here. Totally unorganized shop. They said the check engine light was on becuse of a problem related to coolant levels but said this was probably just an error becasue the coolant level looked ok so I should ignor it. I told them that, no in fact there was a coolant leak and I had been periodically filling up the coolant as I told the guy who checked me in. They said... OH... ok and checked for, found and fixed the coolant leak. However, after picking up the car I noticed that they never bothered to replace the headlight although they did charge me for it - same thing with the oil service - charged but did not complete. Complete unorganized mess - ok they did find and fix the coolant leak at what semed like a reasonable price but not when you factor in that they also charged me for 2 other services they didnt do.
Just be careful aboout this place - things that seem too good to be true... well, they usually are

I felt the need to copy and paste my review from Yelp, written prior to me becoming an Angie's list member. Many people have written such great reviews but I should also offer my own experience. Take it as you will.

I have been to Auto Tech twice- once to get my brakes inspected + tire rotation and another time for an oil change + dashboard lights went out. I went to Auto Tech based on all the 5 star ratings. It's so difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic especially as a woman.

They gained my trust easily the first time based on the great reviews. My brakes were inspected, they told me that I was OK for now, and that I could wait a few more months. My tires were rotated and all was fine.

I returned to them a few months later for an oil change. The price ($36) was comparable to some of the chains and they did not overcharge me for the rear tail light that needed to be changed ($2.50). Here is the kicker... Miguel told me that it costs $120 for the dashboard bulb to be changed and that I needed to return at another time... Miguel rationalized the price because the dashboard needed to be removed in order for the bulb to be changed. Hmmm... Sounds fishy... I asked a friend to check out the lights for me instead. He told me that the mechanic was being ridiculous and showed me the fuse boxes, but we couldn't figure it out. So... I googled my problem. It turns out that my dashboard didn't need to be changed at all! There was a dimmer that I just needed to adjust. I figured out the problem on my own and I feel like I have been totally screwed. Sorry, Miguel, you've lost my trust. I won't be back.For all of you raving about the great oil change, get a clue. Oil changes are routine. Real mechanics are able to fix heaps of junk like mine.

Luis was extremely courteous, a true professional. He has the two things that I look for in an auto mechanic -- honesty and expertise. He saw the driver's side window slip on my Jaguar, laughed and said that it always happens on that model. This is something I already knew but only after researching it. I would recommend Auto Tech without hesitation. I would like to comment on the previous review. The reviewer gave a letter grade of F even though he gave a very favorable review. I believe that this was simply a mistake but one that does a grave disservice to Auto Tech. I hope it is corrected.

Terrific. I got a quick appointment, dropped my car with them with no wait. In a couple hours I received a call telling me I did need rear brakes, but the front were fine. We discussed, I decided to have all brakes replaced and all rotors turned (he offered to replace rotors also). He told me that it wasn't a good idea to have the tires rotated since I need two new ones. So, I got some good advice and didn't pay for any unneeded services. A good auto repair day! I am pleased with the quality of the work and felt like I was treated honestly.

They are always courteous and professional and never try to sell me services I don't need. Prices are great!

Great experience, brought in my 97 jetta for an oil change (at the appointed time and they were ready for me and had it done in 30 mins) and they mentioned the brakes looked like they needed to be replaced. I agreed, they kept the car for the day and did the front brake pads and turned the rotors for a reasonable price. I just liked the way I was treated and how everything was explained. Nice guys and glad to support them. One month later, the brakes are trouble-free, so I think they did a good job. Will definitely go back for this same type of repair - brakes, muffler, etc.
