Appalossa Contractors

I contacted the owner, Charlie Lowery, on his cell phone.  He promptly returned my call. He paid a visit to my home to review the job very quickly, and we agreed on a start date (he was in the middle of another job).  He provided an estimate for labor and materials, after explaining to me in detail what the job would entail.  On the first day, he and his crew arrived on time.  They worked professionally and diligently for a full day and a half, which is less time than estimated.  I was happy that Charlie was able to find someone who could use the gravel, instead of having to pay for it to be disposed.  And, they carefully transplanted my 6-year old's pea plants.  The end products was a huge improvement and the experience was completely stress-free.

I contacted Appaloosa Contractors in reference to a new fence to replace the old chain link fence around my yard.  The estimate came out in the middle of the estimates I had gotten from other fencing companies.  But I was more impressed with Appaloosa than the others.  Plus, Appaloosa offered to trim dead branches that hung over the fence as well as trim the interior branches of a maple tree in my back yard at no additional cost.

Ultimately, my neighbors on both sides unfortunately did not want a wood fence on the property line so I decided against putting up the fence to avoid antagonizing the neighbors.  But had I gone ahead with the project, I'd have chosen Appaloosa.
