We were super pleased with Mr. Stanley's work.  He responded to our inquiry immediately, gave us a choice of dates for performing the appraisal, gave a very reasonable price for a 2-bedroom house ($350.00), did a thorough job when he arrived, provided lots of comparable sales in his analysis, and provided the appraisal within three days of coming to the house.  We also thought the appraisal itself seemed exactly right -- we were pleased with it.  Mr. Stanley is pleasant to deal with and very professional.  We recommend him highly.

I was getting my home appraised to have an idea of it's current value. It needs a lot of work and was curious about what an "as is" price might be. I contacted Aubrey and we set up an apointment immediately. He was on time and did a walk though with pictures. I had never had a home appraisal done before and he answered all my questions. He answered my follow-up questions by email and was very responsive and professional. I would definitely use his company again.

Aubrey was great - we got in touch with him via email, and he responded immediately. In addition, he did not try to sell us on any additional services - in his initial email he stated the cost, and tried to give us an out by saying that if we wanted to guestimate ballpark value we could easily just use redfin.com, zillow.com, etc. We agreed on a mutually good time, and Aubrey was prompt and very thorough in his analysis. He explained everything he was going to measure and evaluate, and what he was going to look for, what other types of comparables he was going to pull, and how long it would take him to evaluate everything in the house and then do his additional research on comps and write the report. Everything was done on time exactly as he described, and he was very, very thorough in examining all dimensions of the house (fixtures, finishes, age of appliances, type of wood cabinetry, exact square footage of the house, etc.). He also pulled three additional comps, and his report clearly explained areas in which our property was "better" than the comparables and where we weren't, and included a detailed explanation of how the appraisal was calculated. Overall, we truly appreciated his transparency and sincerity, in addition to his thoroughness. We definitely felt we got our money's worth and he helped give us that data we needed to make the right decision on our home.

He measured things and took pictures. He explained what he was doing if we asked. We received our appraisal report about 2 days later. It was thorough and well researched. He found appropriate comps and supported his assessment of the value of our home.
